I found a property that we were interested in renting in Jan& Febthrough VRBOWe filled out the registration field to rent at a certain price and added trip cancellation insurance to thatWe did that different times only to receive an email stating that our request had expired do to the manager/owner not responding within a hr time frameSomething required of the manager/owners through VRBOAfter making many email requests for that person to please call me, I finally got an email from Richard, at Emerald Coast, not a call, to go to Emerald Coast Destinations to do the actual booking at a higher rate than shown on VRBO web siteRichard has yet to call me, but did send a booking link through ECD to book itI am uncomfortable to give any amount of money through this companyI am unable to get cancellation insurance or my money back if things don't work outSeems like a shady practice to lure people in through VRBO and then not actually working with themSomething needs to be done about this company and the way they use VRBO, but not let us book through themAnd really, no phone number listed for a legit company ? Is this a one man show scamming people ? Buyer beware
