Contract: [redacted] It was April 14, 2011, and my wife and I attended a free night of camping at KQ Ranch in our new RV The dealer who sold us our RV gave us the free night provided that we attend a 90-minute presentation at the campground We attended the presentation, not knowing that we were in for a high-pressured sales spiel filled with information We met a sales representative named Traci who proceeded to fill our ears with all of the benefits and wonderful amenities that this membership had to offer We were not interested, and made it known to Traci, but she persisted We were then bombarded with information by multiple sales representatives, and even her manager, Wayne Fosmark We felt trapped and very uncomfortable The more we resisted, the faster they would talk, and the more “deals” they would throw in Traci used a large sheet of paper to scribble down what she was telling us, and to illustrate this “good investment” and all of the extra incentives we w

Hello, my family and I visited this business on July 15th in the afternoon to drop items off to one of there members and we parked our boat on there guest dock for minutesIn this time their guest dock did significant damage to our boatI went down the next day to speak to the manager and he was not there ( [redacted] Couch) so I asked him to call meI went down to view the dock and another boat was parked in the same spot as mine from the day prior and that boat was also severely damage [redacted] the manager and I spoke and he said it was my problemI ask him to speak to the GM and through emails with [redacted] ***While explaining the situation to ***, even showing the dock is causing major damage (via pictures) and is a safety concern [redacted] said its my problem and he would not repair the damages to my boatI took pictures of the guest dock area and they had no signs saying "Park at own risk" or anything to support no responsibilityI tried my best in a positive way to resolve the situation

I toured this membership park when I discovered that the RV park management only enforces California’s law about no smoking in the restaurant/barEverywhere else is designated as smoking areas and they all all around the playground, all the pool entrances, the kids clubhouse entrance, the general store entrance, the putt putt, and there are cigarette butt cans around most of the entrance to buildings so that people can smoke right out in front of them There’s also a butt can behind a photo cut out board for the people/kidsI spoke to staff and a manager expressing my concern for my immunocompromised child She has serious sensitivities and I had to restrict her access to all of the amenities here because the amenities location and smoking areas are literally one in the sameI was told over and over during our stay by various staff that the only rule was no smoking in the restaurantI learned the restaurant staff are told to smoke at the picnic table they placed a few feet from children’s playground The manager told me he didn’t care as long as it wasn’t in the restaurantAt the sales tour, I declined buying the membership due to the fact that the business has numerous health code violations already and have been operating like this for years!! I’m not interested in supporting any business that picks and chooses what state and federal regulations that they are going to follow, especially when they’re disregarding the Codes that are put in place for health and safety of our community A more senior manager came out and apologized and said they would correct itI did not believe him

They were really good when giving the sales pitch and until the down payment was madeThen every time we requested a particular benefit we thought we were entitled to there were excuses why they couldn't live up to the promisesThen when we tried working it out with their staff they were short and rude and just kept repeating there was nothing we could do because of the contractSo we told told them we wished to opt out and they said too badWe just quit making payments because we really believe there is some fraud going on there

I signed a contract with Colorado River Adventures and have only been able to use it twiceTheir presentation to me made it seem like the only time I could ever purchase such a deal would be in that very momentThe representatives were very good at pushing and making me feel like what I was getting, I could not pass upThey even told me that they would be expanding into Northern California and that I would not be sorry because they were aggressive owners and wanted to be the biggest RV star club anywhere/everywhereThis now just seems like lies they told meI did not fully understand all of the terms from the contractAny time I asked a question, they always had the answer that I wanted to hearThey told me that if I ever did not want it anymore, we could always give it back to them or sell it back to themSome of the additional lies that they told was that I would be able to travel anywhere in the US with StarsWe felt as if we couldn’t leave unless we signed that contrac

During the sales presentation, We clearly asked if we would be able to sell our membership or end the contract due to the nature of our family businessThe selling point for us was the fact that we could sell our membership back to CRA if the situation required
We have had some situations come up that will not allow us to travel to any of these destinations
My wife has contacted CRA by email and explained the situation to them asking them to purchase our membership backNow were being told not only can we not sell our membership but they dont buy back memberships at allThey are now telling us that its a LOAN and we have no way out of the LOAN agreementAt no time during the sales presentation or during our membership was there ever a mention of a LOAN
If we had been told we were locked into this LOAN we would never had agreed to it

New RV Perchase received offer nights free camping to entertain Colorado River Advintures membership offerPer sales call they further offered a tablet and in gas to attend min presentationNearest location of #Ghost Mountain Ranch made reservation for July 6-Said no thanks, was 12K and a yearReceived cheep tablet and then they limited the trial membership and days camping to only that location and not the locations as was promised on phoneFurthermore the $Is a Shell Rebate with so many restrictions to be almost unusable ie$max days apart with offer void days from issue Spoke to Aaron there on July 7th Also contacted RV dealer 7-10-she also thought the days were at all locations

In we were solicited for a free night stay at the Emerald cove resort with the requirements that we had to sit through a or hour sale pitch on becoming a memberSo, we accepted and went to the park and sat through the sales pitchOnce it was complete they asked us to make a decision on becoming a member right there on the spot, very high pressureWe started asking question about some of the benefits with the membership and one was being a member would grant us a lifetime membership to be a coast to coast member as wellWe also inquired about cancellations if we need to for whatever reasonThe sales agent informed us the membership could be cancelled but there would be an early termination feeAlso, we were asked not to share the cost of the membership to anyone, which we found very odd and we had to have an answer right thenWe decided to get the membership and started campingWe setup reservations to the Ghost Mountain Ranch, where the site made it appear to have ho

We purchased from this company and were promised many things They breached their contract by not filling in the entire thing They "accidentally on purpose" didn't fill in the line regarding the fees There was just a line drawn thru it They did not say the fees go up every year and didn't want us to notice that They also breached their contract by assuring us that there would be plenty of spaces available to camp and on several times we tried to make reservations and were turned down because of lack of space in the park We have been trying to get out of this for quite a while They also said they're not a timeshare but during the presentation we were told we can go all over the world and stay in timeshares They will say and do anything to sell to consumers

This place is awfulThe staff was extreemly rude and disrespectful The staff was in my opinion abusive and offensiveThey never greeted us or smiledThey tuned there back to us when we would ask a questionThey got mad when we submitted a food voucher that THEY gave is us and went off on us when we tried to use itThey were unhelpful and down right meanWe complained to the manager and he didnt care eitherSomething needs to be done about this they need to lose there Revdex.com rating

On July 2016, we arrived at Emerald Cove Resorts We had a free three day visit with gifts from CRA just to attend the hour seminar Prior to going to the seminar on July 17, we went onto the Colorado River Adventure website and checked out some of there properties We went to the seminar and liked what the sales agent had said She said that there was no thieving at there resorts and that we would have a week for free at anyone of there resort locationsThe sales agent showed us there cabin next door to the sales office and an RV trailer that could be rented by membersThe sales agent also showed us a video which showed all there resorts including Ghost Mountain Resort and Pismo Beach located in California We joined and gave a down payment of $at the time of signing the contract Then, the next morning we found one of our camping chairs stolen We notified management and told him who we thought it was, that they did not have a red camping chair yesterday when we
