Hello ***, I’m responding to the attached complaint that *** *** forwarded to me. In short, the complainant applied for their visa twice. From what I gather, the first denial was in late January, but they did not cancel their booth space with us…instead they tried to re-apply for a
visa. They did not receive final notice of denial until Feb 17th which was after our contractual last date for refunds. They cancelled their booth space after the last date to cancel and receive any sort of refund. Emerald Expositions offered to roll 50% of their balance over to the August tradeshow, but they refused our offer. Additionally, I am told we provided every assistance we could in getting them a *** to attend the show (multiple letters and calls to Dhaka Embassy). Please let me know if you need anything else from me and what the next steps are that you take on this matter. Thank you,***
