sitting in "our lawn chairs" on our new damaged flooring with our furniture under tarps on our porchWe have had to reschedule our painting, molding installation and furniture delivery twiceUnable to tolerate the defective and incomplete flooring installation, plus the delay of over a month, now has left us with no other optionsDue to "no timely" plan for resolution from this contractorWe moved back in our home and we could not delay our other contractor work for the third timeThis leaves Emerald and Lowes with only one last option and that is a refund or face certain litigation regarding Senior Citizen Contractor Fraud and also criminal damage to a US Veterans homeThey have "breeched the contract" by not completing the job and have damaged our home and are facing criminal charges of construction defect litigationThe Washington State Attorney General is advising us of our rightsDuring our at home meeting on the 6/date with Emerald Management and Lowes we had a option for flooring replacementThey chose "not" to honor that but offered to "saw out" our damaged flooring boards and clean someThis flooring product contains formaldehyde and we did not want the hazardous materials "sawed" inside our home. We declined.So then we waited and waited and waitedAs of today the job still not been completed and our damage to our home goes beyond the flooringOur porch is damagedOur carpeting is damaged and they have no written planThank you,***@q.com

To whom it may concern,  With over 23 years in business, providing quality service and taking care of thousands of customers, Emerald Installation, Inc. is ready and prepared to defend its name and reputation. We would like to underline, that Mr. [redacted] declared,  under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of Washington, that the information contained in his complaint is true and accurate, and that any documents attached are true and accurate accounts of the originals. Based on the information we've collected and have on file, we find Mr. [redacted] is not being truthful in his statements.   In response to complaint #[redacted] and #[redacted] filed on May 30th, 2017 and June 13th respectively: Mr. [redacted]'s contract is originally held with Lowe's. Emerald Installation, Inc. is a subcontractor hired by Lowe's, and does not hold a contract or any other legal agreements with Mr. [redacted]. We believe that Mr. [redacted]'s primary goal in his complaints was, and is, to receive monetary compensation in a form of full refund regardless of multiple offers to repair the flooring in question. Mr. [redacted]'s threats to make our lives miserable, blackmailing our company and continued refusal to agree to any reasonable resolution -  all point to and support his intent to bully Emerald Installation, Inc. into paying his ransom. Emerald Installation, Inc has not yet been paid for the completed work, therefore has no funds to return to Mr. [redacted]. Claims that Mr. [redacted] made were not consistent in any way with what transpired during the installation or post installation. Our contractors, that were in charge of Mr. [redacted]’s project, are 15 year veterans in the hardwood/laminate installation industry. They regularly, successfully complete one to two projects daily. Like all our contractors, they are knowledgeable and trained in completing every installation project to industry standards. A one year labor warranty applies to every project. On May 10th, 2017 Mr. [redacted] did a walk through at the end of his project, checked the final product installed, verified installation quality and signed a Lowe’s Certificate of Completion. On May 22nd, 2017 Representatives from Lowe's and Emerald Installation, Inc. performed an on-site evaluation with Mr. [redacted] to address his concerns. On May 23rd, 2017 Mr. [redacted] was offered to have the concerns repaired. This included replacing approximately 270 sq feet of flooring at no additional cost the the customer.  We also offered to have another crew of installers made available for this work due to customer's concerns with the initial installers.  Although initially accepted, Mr. [redacted] reversed his decision to let us resolve his concerns. He has done this  on multiple occasions, including 5/22/2017 at the on-site visit and again on 5/23/2017.  At this point Emerald Installation, Inc. has gone above and beyond in order to resolve this situation, but Mr. [redacted] has declined any and all offers for a reasonable solution.  Furthermore, Mr. [redacted] has made a tremendous effort to damage our company's reputation through repeated, negative, and dishonest postings to at least five different outlets including:-Four complaints on Yelp-AARP Complaint-Revdex.com Complaint-L&I Complaint-BuildZoom.com Complaint -Two complaints to Attorney General's Office Emerald Installation, Inc. is considering legal action against Mr. [redacted] due to continued defamation. Since Mr. [redacted] is Lowe's customer, we will need to obtain a special permission from Lowe's to disclose any additional information that we have, if such action will be required. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or if any clarifications are needed. Eric B[redacted]Operations ManagerEmerald Installation, Inc.360-519-9198[redacted]@emeraldinstallation.com
