We have looked over the complaint filed against us in regards to one of our clients and the 90 Day Challenge program we offered from IIFYM.com. Our client is requesting a refund for the services that were provided. IIFYM (If It Fits Your Macros) and a dieting method based on a scientific...

approach. This involves tracking your macronutrients (proteins, carbs, and fats) to a very specific amount for a certain period of time. We use very calculated and scientifically proven methods to figuring out the proper amounts for each client, based on their exercise, personal statistics, health, preferences, illness, history, etc. With the knowledge and expertise of our staff, we look at each client individually and determine the best route for them to take, based on the previously mentioned guidelines. The concerns that were addressed were that we did not calculate our client’s macros correctly, that we were unresponsive to emails, and that we did not listen to their concerns in regards to losing weight and achieving their goals. While we apologize for any misguidance that our client feels they received, we could not offer a refund as it was stated on our site at the time of purchase, that they must follow the entire program from start to finish and show that after following the program, they failed to see any results occur. They must show us their full logs of this as well as photos. I have also attached a document showing all the email correspondence we had with this client and commentary on each email as well. In the future, we could express more firmly our rules for getting a refund and what our money back guarantee is. We could also communicate with our staff more diligently in ensuring that everyone is on the same page when it comes to creating a plan for a client. However, the plan that was created for her WAS indeed correct and we did address every issue that was brought to our attention. There was just a misunderstanding with how our emails to her were read, so I apologize personally if it came off a different way than what she was expecting. But, every email of hers has been replied to, our coaches worked with her to reduce her food when she felt it was too much, and we tried to have her send us her food logs so we could further help her but she refused to do so. We had to manually go in to her online tracking account and go through every single day for the last 3 months and pull all the information and put it into the spreadsheet we had sent to her to fill out for us. We showed her she was never even following the plan at all and was consistently under and fluctuating on her macros. Because of this alone, we could not offer a refund for the program. She just did not want to give it the time it needs. She mentions having issues with breastfeeding and this also was never mentioned to us. We cannot know that her milk supply is not as good if she does not tell us. This was withheld until the very end, after she was asking for a refund. She says she has email proof of us saying her macros were not calculated correctly, but so do we (see attached).
