With the threat of an ugly MCA contractual default I was contacted by Emerge 180. I explained I had already successfully filed an answer for myself but I was unable to file an answer for my LLC. I also explained I had successfully negotiated the balance to a reasonable amount but could not pay those terms and at the requested timeline. I explained I needed an extension of time and detailed the timeline for an appearance or answer filing. Emerge 180 told me they could get an extension. No answer or appearance was filed and Emerge 180 gained me a default judgment. The only answer they had is we are not a NY attorney. Misled and let down!
