Ms [redacted] brought her dog in for an exam for vomiting.  She agreed to the treatment plan which included fluids and xrays.  We agreed to take a partial payment on that evening, and would hold a check for her.  She paid with her Mastercard on 08/05 in the amount of 168.50, and left a...

check to be posted on 08/15/14 for 168.50.  The check was posted to her account on 08/15 as agreed, and brought her account to zero.  Emergency Pet Care of Round Rock sends its paperwork and deposits to a different office.  The accounting end of the business is done at a different location, and there are some delays in posting.  Ms [redacted] knew that her check would be deposited after the August 15, 2014 date, and if it was a concern of hers, should have checked her account or notified the EC. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused her, but she knew that the check was going to be deposited.  As the Revdex.com knows, the complaint that she filed on 08/26/14 was not received by the accounting office until 09/10/14, which justifies that it takes a couple of days to be addressed.  This particular case due to a holiday involved.  Again, we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused Ms [redacted].  Most emergency hospitals do not accept partial payments, payment plans, or held checks, however Emergency Pet Care of Round Rock understands that sometimes there is no way around it, and does its best to help accommodate our clients the best we can, and to make sure their pets are taken care of.
