Needs MotorWhen I bought a car from them the owner told me and my son that the car was good little car, it would last him a long time well it lasted a week before it tore up on him. They told it to the car lot and had a mechanic look at it . He said it needed a motor in the car. The owner should give me my money back or put a motor in the car at his expense. I don't like being lied to, I just lost my husband in Sept. of this year and I fill like I was being taking advantage of on the sell of this car. I was my son first car from me and my late husband for his birthday. They could a least refund me all or part of the money I spent on buying the car from them.Desired SettlementI would like for them to replace the motor at there expense or refund the money back to me so I can get my son another car or give him a car to replace that one. Thank you!Business Response Report concerning [redacted]'s complaint,The [redacted] in the complaint was a trade in. Mr. [redacted] a repeat customer of ours, decided to trade it in for a new, more sporty vehicle. The Camry worked fine, it was a nice car. [redacted] lost her husband and we helped her. We suspended payments on her GMC safari for approximately two months so she would not have to worry about paying until she got insurance money. She liked the [redacted] so we held it at our lot, not selling it to anyone who asked, for 6 weeks. After receiving Insurance money she came in wanting to purchase a car. She was looking at many but was still set on getting the [redacted] after looking at it and driving it. We sold it for less than we paid for it. We took a loss. We got a call about a week later that the car had broken down and it was not drivable so they had someone else look at it and work on it. They say it never worked but our paperwork shows they put on 1350 miles on it just during the short time they had it. We told them we would pay the mechanic that rents out shop to look at it. He discovered that the vehicle had been 'Dogged Hard' and it blew the motor. Whoever worked on it also did damage to the [redacted] Still, we tried to help the [redacted] family.) We were being taken advantage of because she was using our pity to try to get more and more from us. We found another vehicle to put them in. (even though THEY tore the car up) we tried and tried for over a month to reach them until we finally decided to do something else with the car. We called them several times a week to try and help them. We had given up but then her brother and sister in law came in to purchase another car from us. The [redacted] have been great repeat customers for years. We told them that we had been looking for [redacted] but never reached her. Two hours later [redacted] and her son [redacted] showed up. They were wondering what we could do for them and what they could have. We told them it was too late for the vehicle we had in mind but we can keep looking for another vehicle to let them swap. We offered to sell the car at auction to make them money. We were going to do this with no profit of course. They were ready to get another vehicle from us. Two days later , on [redacted] we get a phone call from the Revdex.com stating that Mrs. [redacted] had filed a complaint. We were absolutely shocked. We have helped them in so many ways that we thought we might be getting a prank call instead of it actually being the Revdex.com. Mr. [redacted] contacted the [redacted]'s to try and resolve the matter but was met with attitude and sarcasm.

Emert auto has always been good by me. I have had three cars through him and loved all of them. I'd go back there in a heart beat. Good people and a great service. ","pos-1
