Review: ON 1/**/2014 I [redacted] WAS LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO HELP ME KEEP MY HOME BECAUSE IT WAS IN FORCLOSURE ...THE COMPANY TOLD ME THE COST OF THIS WILL BE $2999.95 . I HAD TO PUT A DOWNPAYMENT OF $1000.00 ON THAT DAY..01-**-2014 .AND THE BLANCE OF $1999.95 WILL BE DUE .. ON 2/**/20014 I PAID THAT .FOR THE PAST 6 MONTHS I HAVENT GOT ANY HELP ...NOW EVERYTIME I CALL THEM SOMEONE HANGS UP ON ME BEFORE I CAN SAY HELLO IM THINK THE COMPANY HAS CALLER ID ...BECAUSE EVERYTIME I CALL FROM A DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBER THEY PICK UP BUT AFTER HEARING MY NAME SOMEONE HANGS UP AGAIN THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR MONTHS ..THE LAST TIME I CALL WAS 7/**/2014 I TALK TO SOMEONE NAME [redacted] SHE TOLD ME TO CALL BACK ON 7/**/2014 I CALL BACK AND GUESS WHAT HAPPEN SHE OR SOMEONE AT THE LAWS OFFICE HUNG UP ON ME...SOMETIME IN MARCH 20014 MY BANK CALL THEM TO SEE IF I CAN GET A REFUND SOMEONE TOLD MY BANK THAT THEY WILL BE SENDING ME [redacted] SOME PAPERS TO SIGN SO I CAN GET MY MONEY BACK ..THAT PAPERS NEVER GOT TO ME.......ALL IM ASKING IS FOR MY MONEY BACK BECAUSE I NEVER GOT HELP. I [redacted] HAD TO GO PAY ANOTHER LAW TO HELP ME OUT THAT TOOK ONLY 3WEEKS .WITH EMERY LAW ITS BEEN 6 MONTHS AND NO HELP..Desired Settlement: I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK BECAUSE OF NO HELP FROM EMERY LAW AND I HAD TO PAY ANOTHER LAW TO HELP ME AND ITS NOW TAKING CARE OF..

Review: I submit my concern with great sadness regarding a payment made to Emery Law Firm (ELF) for Loan Modification assistance made on Feb. *, 2014. The first installment payment for mortgage assistance and through this process I decided to terminated the agreement within the allowable time. After the correspondence was received by ELF they contacted daily asking why the termination and asking me to reconsider. In learning of my options, the decision was made to work with my mortgage company and they told me their wasn't a cost and they processed and approved my Loan Modification.

Afterwards, I found no communications was received from ELF and each time I called I was advised that the person I asked for wasn't available. Undoubtedly, there was no interest to assist me with my refund. In all my years as a consumer, I have never experienced such blatant regard to honestly and integrity.

So today when I called due to the email correspondence received on a refund due to me, the representative, Amy, expressed that they are receiving a lot of calls and she couldn't say if I would receive a call back. This recklessness has gone on to long and Emery Law must be held accountable for taking consumers money and not refunding when asked. Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Additionally, this complaint has been filed with the Office of Attorney General Eric T. S[redacted]Desired Settlement: The service contract was terminated and no services were rendered a full refund is requested
