Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:this emge's auto repair is lying and very deceitful..I know they Did Not perform the proper alignment on my vehicle..first of all, they charged me alignment fees and told me the car is aligned and you good to go--on my way home from the alignment shop I noticed my vehicle steering wheel is Not straight!! And so I go underneath my vehicle to check to see what did they adjust for my steering wheel is still the same crooked to one side (steering wheel still crooked to the right like before the alignment) and after careful and details examination of the inner and outer tirerod ends on both sides, I recounted my thread line on both side which I have set at 12 threads before I take to alignment shop AND set my adjusting sleeve bolts (2 bolts per adjusting sleeve on one side = 4 bolts for both adjusting sleeves) at a certain angle so that the 4 bolts will not hit against the frame when vehicle is in motion and suspensions and turnings at certain degree ..none of the bolts were loosen ..AND logitically when bolts and studs are loosen or tighten by impact airtool it Will Not be seat at the precise exact spot again , in this case the adjusting sleeve bolts can Not be at the same thread and angle on both side..!! I drove my vehicle back to them within 30 minutes for them to check why my steering wheel is off the the right like before.. so he go for test drive and come back whispered to his foreman that did the alignment (supposely) and then they swap my left tire to right and right tire to left (not rotate) and Then tell me when I get the POWER STEERING gearbox replace and new tires COME ON BACK AND WE WILL DO THE ALIGNMENT AND WON'T charge again. Also I inform them that why did they not tell me about the power steering gearbox has play in it before the alignment was to proceed on..I aslo told them that UNDER MISSOURI CERTIFY MECHANIC IN A SHOP WHEN ALIGNMENT IS TO PERFORM THEN THE ALIGNMENT MECHANIC MUST INFORM OF ANY ISSUE(s) relating to alignment to customer for repair Before alignment can be perform..!! Also while the manager or boss went for a test drive on my vehicle, I over heard one of the conversation in the shop with the alignment mechanic man and another mechanic working in there saying "what was you thinking ..how are you going to explain your way out on that" when I was standing outside ..my instinct tell me they didn't do what they said they did..AND THEY Didn't THINK I KNOW THE CSA LAW ..the bossman/ manager and the alignment mechanic was whispering to each others..!! *** inspected my vehiclethey did not retighten the lug nuts properly on the wheel that they took off to inspect the brakemiles later all but one nut/bolt came off or broke causing over $in towing and damage

I went there to get an alignment for my vehicle,..but my vehicle was still not align and I did paid for the alignment fee of $69.95, but they didn't alignment my vehicle because I double checks to see if they even align yet or not...I am the person who replaced all of the front end suspension parts and marked my bolts and nuts locations after I finish ..I went under my vehîcle to realize that the technician didn't unbolt the alignment sleeves bolts for adjustment(s) at all..I went back to the shop to tell them the vehicle is still not align and it drive with exact problems ..they said my vehicle needs new power steering gearbox (p.sgearbox has loose play in it)and new tires (wear uneven) They told me when I get them parts change then they will re-alignment..I have all the parts replaced now but now they changed their mind and don't do my alignment and don't return my money I paid..they never loosen up my adjusting sleeves bolts on neither side to be able to do adjustment but to tel

We provided this customer a complete alignment, when the car left shop, the steering wheel was straightI test drove this car myself and did recommend new tiresIf the customer replaced the gear box, this could cause his steering to be off and steering should have been adjusted at the time of his installationThe gear box was not installed by our company

I am rejecting this response because:I had a brand new power steering gear box in my Chevy. I am a mechanic and I work on diesel vehicles for years. I assumed that this company had knowledge on Chevy vehicles. That's why I had them to do the
alignment. The gear box was working well and it was running fine. The part wore out and it should last along time. The original one lasted years. It only lasted nine months. I changed the tie rods and ball joints. I put the adjustment sleeves on the tie rods. It is for the alignment adjustment. I positioned them to be secure on the tie rods on both times and they were exactly the same. When the car bounces up and down it will not touch the arm. They didn't loosen the bolt on the adjustment sleeves then they can't do the alignment. It is impossible. That adjustment sleeve is the connection between the inner tie rod and the outer tie rod. The sleeves had two bolts on each side. They would have to loosen the two bolts on each side. After they claim to do the alignment, I went for a test drive and the wheel was still turning crooked like before. I went underneath my vehicle and I looked at it. It shouldn't look exactly the way it did before I brought it in. When I called them about it, they hung up on me. It's not about the $70, it's about the lies. Then they brought up that I was Asian and I didn't understand them. I understood everything.
