I am rejecting this response because:    I did speak to [redacted] and he said that I
would have to call in to use my warranty company after this vehicle had
been seen in the dealership for the 3rd time in less than a month. All
the research I have done would qualify this sale under the lemon law and
I do plan to file an additional complaint with the [redacted] stating that I
was sold a car with a bad engine that needed to replaced within a month
after purchase and no tech in the dealership could see this as a problem
I find suspicious. Yes I was angry when after purchasing a car and
bringing it back after a week to be told basically that it's not there
problem anymore. I didn't receive any type of customer service from [redacted] who is the Sales Manager at all. Since he knew I had the extended
warranty according to the service dept. they weren't aware of this and said they couldn't work on my car without his permission.

The customer purchased the vehicle “as is”, however does have a
service contract that would cover an engine replacement.
 
[redacted] explained she needed to call [redacted] first to open a
claim with her service contract and supplied her with the information. She...

was
informed that if the repair was NOT covered under the plan that she would need
to pay for both the repair and diagnosis. She was not happy, however that is
policy on as is vehicles.
 
If the diagnosis is in fact a new engine, her service contract will
cover it.  see attached copy of purchase order.
