Review: I purchased prescription eyeglasses in 2011. I wanted to replace the lenses because of a scratch in one of the lenses. I was given the RX and was going to purchase new lenses from another Doctors office because the cost was much less expensive for me. The optician from that office checked my lenses rx from the written rx to confirm accuracy. He discovered that the lenses did not have the prism part of the rx as was written. I then returned to my Doctors office for them to verify the written rx against the lenses and was told that "yes" prism should have been added per the Doctors request but it was not put in their system and therefore, was overlooked when they made the glasses. Although I could see clearly with the lenses I still had a problem with double vision when reading but did not know it was because the prism was not in the lenses. The Doctor had not told me she was adding prism to correct this problem. I believe the Doctors office should replace the lenses with the prism at no cost to me because they were not correctly made as prescribe by the Doctor, however the Doctors office is not willing to correct their error at their expense.
