also the fault of the Revdex.com not sending prior warning notices that usually go out as well. only attempt were phone calls, where the business owners (my parents) do not have sufficient english to reply to such a complaint. This is a small mom and pop business that have customers coming back and staying in business for a reasons; even without proficient english. Secondly, Tony has had few conversations with the person that filed the complaint and tried to solve the issue by offering her options to a resolution that she had agreed to at some point, and then later changed her mind and filed a complaint and claim that have been stretched. Also, she was put in the loop with the officer that was handling this case. Also she is in the loop regarding this case and the officer involved with the case and other information involved in it.To my knowledge she has already spoken with the officer handling the case since the officer told me so, and is probably aware of the fact that the information although collected from the culprit, is fraud and therefore cannot be traced whether it is by bank information or ID. Yes, the business owners do admit it was their mistake, but it was an honest mistake. This is the first time they have had this issue while being more than eight years in business. Nobody is perfect and in my humble opinion, is pretty impressive that this is the first time we had this issue while those 8 plus years. We have offered resolutions and options that outweigh the monetary value of her lost item. Although maybe not having the sentimental value, what she later asked for and claim, is outrageous to the value of that item and seeking much more in self benefits.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 16, 2015/10/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The jeweler did not offer any resolution to replacing my 14K diamond butterfly ring or 14K earrings until served with subpoena to appear in Small Claims Court, after four months of requesting restitution for my jewelry. The diamond butterfly ring has a unique design, given to me by my husband 30 years ago.
Jeweler insisted on waiting on Police Investigation which is "open suspended." In response to my being in the loop with the Officer handling the case, I filed the complaint with the Police on site at the jewelry store after being told my jewelry was picked up by an unauthorized person (I have my claim check) I continued to follow up Police reports.
Jeweler now offers to duplicate my vintage diamond butterfly ring of unique design. Jeweler designs are not satisfactory, to picture of my ring.
I have checked with other jewelers to design and replace the 14K butterfly ring. With the value of gold and diamonds today, I feel justified requesting the restitution amount.
