[redacted] IS NOT REPRESENTING THE ACTUAL FACTS REGARDING THIS COMPLAINT. [redacted] AND [redacted] HAD THEIR TAX, TITLE & LICENSE DUE ON 3/21/2014 IN THE AMOUNT OF $653.50. WE TRIED CONTACTING THEM IMMEDIATELY ON THE MORNING OF 3/24/2014 AND THEY DID NOT CALL US BACK UNTIL LATE THAT AFTERNOON....

WHEN [redacted] CALLED ME, HE ASKED IF HE COULD BRING IN THE $400.00 HE HAD TOWARDS THE TTL AND PAY THE REST WHEN HE COULD GET IT TOGETHER, POSSIBLY A FEW DAYS. I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT AT THE TIME OF THE CONTRACT (3/6/2014), THEY WERE TOLD THAT THEY HAD ONLY 15 DAYS TO PAY THE TTL AND IF IT IS NOT PAID WITHIN THE 15 DAYS, THAT WE WILL PICK UP THE VEHICLE AND VOID THE SALE. WE EXPLAINED THAT MOST CAR LOTS WANT THE TTL UP FRONT, BUT WE KNOW HOW HARD IT IS FOR A CUSTOMER TO PAY THEIR DOWN PAYMENT AND THEIR TTL AT THE SAME TIME, SO WE GIVE THEM 15 DAYS. WHEN [redacted] CALLED, I TOLD HIM THAT I WOULD NOT BE IN THE OFFICE THE NEXT DAY (3/25/2014), SO THAT GAVE THEM AN EXTRA DAY TO GET THE TTL INTO US, BUT IF WE DID NOT RECEIVE IT BY 3/26/2014, I WOULD PICK THE VEHICLE UP. THEY DID NOT PAY US BY THE MORNING OF 3/26/2014, SO I AND MY CO-WORKER WENT TO PICK THE CAR UP. WHEN WE ARRIVED AND I TOLD THEM I WAS THERE TO PICK UP THE CAR, [redacted] ASKED ME AGAIN IF I COULD TAKE THE $400.00 THEY HAD FOR NOW. I TOLD HIM NO THAT THE TTL HAD TO BE PAID IN FULL. WE WAITED WHILE [redacted] CLEANED THE VEHICLE OUT, WHICH TOOK HIM ALMOST 40 MINUTES, BECAUSE THE INTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE AND THE TRUNK WERE FULL OF PERSONAL ITEMS AND TRASH. WHEN WE RETURNED TO OUR LOT WITH THE VEHICLE WE DID AN IMMEDIATE CONDITION REPORT AND FOUND THAT IT HAD BEEN DRIVEN IN ROUGH AREA, ALMOST LIKE SOMEONE HAD TAKEN IT 4 WHEELING. THE PLASTIC COVER UNDER THE FRONT OF THE CAR HAD ALL THE CLIPS, BUT TWO, BROKEN OUT AND THERE WERE MANY PLACES THAT HAD CLUMPS OF GRASS CAUGHT IN THEM. THEY HAD ALSO PUT APPROXIMATELY 2200 MILES ON IT IN THE TWO AND A HALF WEEKS THEY HAD IT. THE COSMETIC CONDITION WAS DEPLORABLE CONSIDERING THEY HAD IT FOR SUCH A SHORT TIME. WHEN THEY CALLED ME LATER THAT DAY TO SAY THEY HAD BORROWED THE MONEY AND WANTED THE CAR BACK, I TOLD THEM THAT WERE CANCELLING THE SALE BECAUSE THEY DID NOT MEET THEIR CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS OF 15 DAYS AND BECAUSE OF THE DEPLORABLE CONDITION OF THE VEHICLE.
AGAIN, WE HAVE A POLICY THAT ALL CUSTOMERS TTL MUST BE PAID WITHIN 15 DAYS OR THEIR SALE WILL BE CANCELLED.
