the patient for his co-pay. All within our legal rights to do so. The patient has been given numerous opportunities to pay his bill and, as the patient indicated, he has refused to pay his bill. As the patient indicated, the claim has since been forwarded to a collection agency. Again, within our legal rights to collect a debt. We believe this complaint to be without merit. As the patient indicated, 911 was called, he was transported by our ambulance company, his insurances were properly billed and he has an unpaid copay.It is our policy to give patients every opportunity to pay their bill. Ifthey have a financial hardship we work with them, including discounting the bill, setting up payment plans and/or writing off the charges. We take all accusations of fraud very seriously. We are regularly audited by federal, state and independent insurance agencies. Again, we believe this complaint of fraud to be without merit. The patient simply does not have [redacted] coverage on the date of service and it would be fraudulent for usto seek payment from [redacted]To settle this complaint, we are writing off the patients co-pay and closing his account.Thank you.Christopher A[redacted]CFO
