Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

In my defense, Empire Auto is making an attempt to degrade my character as a customer. From the very first call with this business, I stated I was having an issue with another transportation service where my vehicle had been waiting over two weeks to be transported from the dealership and it has been a nightmare for me because I know nothing about the business and I just wanted to get my car home. The Empire Auto sales person [redacted] explained to me that the reason why my car has probably not been dispatched through the other carrier is because they under bid the price and that their services would be more than what I was quoted from the other transporter and promised that Empire Auto would transport my vehicle in a timely fashion. So with that confidence I agreed to their terms which was a quote $500.00 more from what the previous carrier promoted. When the driver was dispatched through Empire Auto my portion of the fees to them were paid immediately on my debit card and I did not provide a hassle to take care of my debts. My credit history as a customer clearly proves that by no form am I considered a scam artist. When it is time for me to pay my debts, they are paid with no negligence. I stated to Empire Auto several times during the long debate that in no form was I trying to hassle them. I was happy with the response time that they provided service to get my car dispatched and my only issue was that I was not aware that additional fees are charged to carry additional items during a transport. I also stated several times that this is a business that they specialize in not me and that is why I hired them. In a repeated defense I said that when making my order I answered all of the questions that were provided to me in full detail and not one time was the question will you be carrying any additional items with the transport and the sales rep [redacted] admitted verbally that he should have asked me that. If Empire Auto does not provide a disclosure form to members of the public who know nothing of this business, how can a customer fully provide them with the information they need as a business to avoid future misrepresentation of a vehicle. I did not threatened Empire Auto to write a letter to the Revdex.com in an effort to scam or bully this business. I stated that I would write this letter to the Revdex.com in an effort to resolve this [redacted]er professionally because I felt that I became a victim and was not wrong by my actions to defend myself. The driver agreed that he felt that I was correct in the [redacted]er. When it came time for me to pay my extra fees to avoid my wheel being auction off, I showed my character as a customer and paid my debts in full once again. So to say that I am trying to bully or scam Empire Auto is a desperate attempt to protect their ratings and the companies reputation. No business is perfect and mistakes will happen. Empire Auto made a mistake and should have owned up to that and all of this could have been avoided. A company who advertise that customer satisfaction is guaranteed, forgot the values that their business should uphold to their customers. The consumers are the people who keep their business successful. As I stated several times when Empire Auto sales rep [redacted] verbally admitted that he should have asked me that question where as to if I was shipping any additional items with my vehicle and admitting verbally that they assumed that because the vehicle was coming from a dealership they never run into an issue of rims and tires being included in a purchase. That is the only reason why I continuously argued with Empire Auto because of [redacted] verbally admitting that the company that he worked for Empire Auto made a conscious mistake and was at fault for not disclosing that information which allowed for my vehicle to be misrepresented. This argument clearly shows that I made no attempt to scam Empire Auto nor threaten the business in an attempt to damage their reputation as a service provider or scam them for a free service. My actions and commitment to Empire Auto shows that any fees they asked my to pay for I payed immediately with no hesitation and there were no delays on my behalf to fulfill anything that Empire Auto requested of me to get my vehicle transported.  All I asked for was justice due to the fact that the company was wrong by their mistakes and I be refunded for that.

In the contract it reads "Misrepresentationto Empire Auto Transport Services LLC of the vehicle(s) size and/or weight mayresult in additional fees and/or the cancellation of the order". EmpireAuto Transportation Services is a broker, sub-contracting the transport of thecustomers vehicle to a third party common carrier. Empire Auto Transportservices in no way benefited from the additional $300 charged. The $300 waspaid to the common carrier to help offset the additional fuel burned due to theincreased weight, and to help offset any fee's that they may incur in DOT finesdue to their trailer being overweight (as stated in the signed contract). Review: My first time dealing with any vehicle transportation service was by far the most horrible experience I've had. After cancelling my contract with another transportation service, I booked Empire Auto Transport. Upon scheduling a transfer of my vehicle from Greene Chevrolet dealership in [redacted] to [redacted] the Empire Auto Transport representative [redacted] asked me a serious of questions under their standards to give me a price to get my vehicle shipped. I was asked the make, model, year of car, pick-up, and delivery location of vehicle, and that was all the questions I was asked. Keep in mind this is my first time going through an Auto transportation service so I had no clue of how the business worked and what information could affect my shipping cost of vehicle. Empire Auto does not have any disclosure policy to inform members of the public about the regulations of transferring a vehicle. Need less to say, I was quoted at $1095.00 to get my vehicle shipped and I agreed to that amount on contract. When the driver whom was dispatched to pick up my vehicle arrived to the dealership, the dealership included some 22" rims with the car and put those rims in the trunk. The truck driver wanted an additional $300.00 dollars to transport the vehicle because he was not aware of the rims being in the vehicle and would add extra weight. He also noted that you are allowed to carry up to 100lbs of luggage with the transport. There were 4 total rims and tires and the $300.00 charge comes from the other 3 rims and tires. The driver called Empire Auto and they were entitling me to pay for the additional cost. I got on the phone with Empire Auto and spoke with [redacted] whom had prepared my contract and knew the details of the matter. [redacted] debated with me that I would have to pay for those services and I argued that it was not my fault that they were not aware of the rims and tires being transported in the vehicle. I argued more to explain that I have never had to have a vehicle transported before and that's why customers come to a business of their stature because we are not knowledgeable in the career that they successfully manage. I also stated that upon making my contract I was asked a series of questions due to their guidelines to provide any information that would complete my order and asking me were their any luggage or personal items to be transferred with the vehicle was not one of the questions. [redacted] then agreed that he should have asked those questions and verbally spoke that Empire Auto assumed that being that my car was coming from a dealership that nothing would be transferred with the vehicle, because they never normally see that. I further argued again that is was not my fault and I should not have to pay the additional cost due to me answering their questions under their guidelines to process my order. [redacted] then transferred me to the manager [redacted] basically said the same thing that [redacted] said and I pleaded the same case several times. [redacted] did everything he could to protect his company assets and did not provide great customer service due to their mistakes. He argues that in the contract I misrepresented the vehicle. I then argued again that I was not aware of the process and it was my very first time transporting a vehicle and upon completing my order I answered a series of questions under their standards to get my order complete and that was one of the questions that they did not ask me. I also stated that if I would have know their profession of course I would have stated that, but by this being my first time I was unaware of that and that Empire Auto does not have a disclosure to properly represent their company and the way they operate. On the end of our conversation [redacted] stated that he could get the driver to lower the cost and I was not satisfied with that because Empire Auto should cover those additional fees for their mistake. [redacted] disagreed and would not cover this cost. I then stated I would write a letter to the Revdex.com to resolve this issue and [redacted] became very upset. He then proceeded to call the driver whom was dispatched to charge me the full $300.00 for the rims and tires due to me writing a letter to the Revdex.com. [redacted] called me back with confidence to tell me that since I was being difficult that he got the driver to charge me the full $300.00 for including the rims and tires being shipped with my car and that if I elect not to pay those cost my rims and tires would be put in a storage and would be auctioned off to someone. I replied with that's fine I will still write my letter to the Revdex.com and will pay the extra $300.00 out of my pocket so that my rims and tires would not be auctioned off being that the rims and tires were apart of the purchase of my vehicle.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a full refund in the amount of $300.00 for the extra cost added to my bill to get my rims and tires shipped with my vehicle.

Review: My car was to be picked up by Empire Auto Transport to be taken from [redacted] on May **, 2015. A few days before the car was to be picked up, I was unable to contact the owner, Matt. My emails and calls went unanswered and I was forced to quickly find a new transport company.

In July of 2015, my grandmother reported to me that she was charged $175 by Empire Auto Transport on her credit card on July *, 2015. This was more than a month after the scheduled date of service. I contacted Matt on August 3, 2015 requesting a refund for the simple fact that he provided no services and charged more than a month after. I was told I would receive a call back the next day. On August *, 2015, I didn't receive a call. I sent another email. I called and left a voicemail. I later received a text message on August *,2015, stating that he scheduled the car to be picked up on May **, 2015. He stated he did not know why the car wasn't picked up and that my grandmother's card will be credited the $175. He stated that it would take 10 business days for the credit to show up.

It is now August **, 2015 and there has STILL been NO REFUND.Desired Settlement: I would like my grandmother's card to be refunded with the amount of $175.
