[redacted] should be their jingleThis company is a nightmareThey claim next day installation yet here it is over two weeks and I can't even get a call backThey have my $deposit no one knows what they are doing in any capacity at this placeA salesman came with samples, I picked out flooring for the kitchen, bath and family room gave a deposit and were told installers would be outOkay fast forwardSubcontractors arrive and claim they cannot do the job due to asbestos tile alleged found when carpet pulled upSpoke with someone named Joseph who assured me they could still do the job but they would not disturb the asbestos tileThey would lay carpet instead of flooringDay one of taking offwork overSalesman comes again and I pick new carpet and set new appointmentFast forward again...new subcontractors arrive and again tell us they will not do the job because of the "asbestos tile" and another day taken off work shot to hellNow I am waiting for a call from Joseph or any one in management to try to resolve this and NO ONE is callingI called Friday afternoon and everyone must have left early or they don't care but here it is Monday afternoon and I'm still waiting...hmmm...what's wrong with this picture? I gave this company my hard earned moneyI expect professional service and get absolutely no call back, no refund, no anythingTo say I'm disappointed is an understatementEmpire is a company that is void of practice of good business and I am just another customer who found out the hard wayBUYER BEWARE!

I was referred to Empire by a friend but it has been my bad experience that this should be writtenWe bought a high end carpet, that we likedHowever, several seems had to be fixed in several roomsDue to incorrectly installed carpet, they were unable to repair only the seemsAnd this was after several unanswered phone call attempts by me, They ended up replacing bedrooms and living roomThis however, now has a lower end version of carpet instead of what we paid for, different color and seems still showNow, after several more unanswered phone calls, and months later from the initial install, this matter is still not resolvedI do not recommend Empire, [redacted] **, location nor their installers

We ordered carpeting for two small bedrooms and a hallway to be installed on November ***, The three installers did install the carpeting for the two small bedrooms however they broke the threshold to one of the bedrooms and the doors can't close due to the rugs height They left one of the doors off the hinge and if I did not notice the threshold was completely cracked they would not have told me
The hallway rug was not installed due to the rep not taking the right measurementsWeeks later and still no rug installed but we have received our $empire carpet bill I have tried times to get that rug installed and my doors shaved and the installers are giving excuses every time saying they have called me numerous times leaving me voice mails that they have tried reaching me This has never happened
I have made numerous complaints to the company and still no rug
I am so upset and frustrated and will never ever recommend them to anyone Today is December ***,

I had tile put in the kitchen and entry way. in the kitchen they trapped my dishwasher! We had the dishwasher pulled out and they shoved it back in and tiled in front of it! Now there is no way to get it out without cutting the tile! They didn't base board the side by the fridge like we asked them to. In the entry way the tile is 3/4 inch off so it looks crooked. They didn't dispose of the old tile, it's sitting in are yard for a week and I keep calling every day. The workers they contracted with would not listen to us and when they cleaned up there concrete mess its all in the dirt and splashed up against the wooden fence. This was such a bad experience I would never recommend them. Pay more and get better quality and service!!!

We had carpet measured and planned installation. We asked Brady Martinez about his measurement because we had a our prior records of another company's measurement . He stated there was plenty. Carpet installers came and not enough carpet. Not only was their not enough carpet, we paid extra for the premium pad and the premium pad they brought was damaged so we had to settle for a lesser pad but the worst part is they wouldn't bring more carpet and finish ours stairs. So we had to block the stairs because the pad was laid and would be torn up from people walking on it. When you call to purchase carpet they are right there to take your order but we had 3 hours of their business hours to get the carpet finished and they couldn't do it. This was our first time using Empire but we will never use them again and we will tell everyone to not use them.

Review: I had my carpet cleaned in 2 bedrooms on 5/**/15 by [redacted] , the [redacted] of Empire Carpet & one of his employees. There were stains from dog urine in the larger bedroom. [redacted] assured me that he would be able to remove the stains with special chemicals and as such, the price was quite costly for the square footage of the area that was being cleaned.The stains appeared to be gone, however, the carpet remained wet for the next day or 2. We were away after that with our dog and when we returned a few days later, we noticed that the stains had returned. I called [redacted] a number of times and left messages telling him waht happened and asking him to come back and redo the carpet. He has not returned my calls.Desired Settlement: I would like my $225 refunded to me.

Review: I had pergo installed in 3 bedrooms and hall I am happy with that the square footage was 450.5 I saw that the living room and dining room was wood flooring so itold them not to do thrse areas that was 266 square ft the bill was abput $10500 they are only going to credit me $3250 for the area they did not do . I thing I should get more credit as the living room and dining roomr are more than half the area of the beedroomsDesired Settlement: refund more than they say is there best offored settlement

Review: I had a scheduled service to install carpet in my master bedroom AND our HALLWAY for 6/*/2015. The carpet install team came and only had enough carpet for the master bedroom. There was a balance of 720 dollars left to do BOTH THE MASTER AND THE HALLWAY. We had a contract to do the entire upper floor with carpet for a total of 2800 dollars. The first time they came they did 3 bedrooms and left the hallway and master bedroom to do on 6/*/2015 at our request due to construction. They came on 6/*/2015 and THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY CARPET FOR THE HALLWAY. They said they need to collect the entire 720 even if they ONLY do the master bedroom. This is unacceptable. I called the 800 number and spoke to [redacted] ext [redacted] and she told me as a [redacted] she is unable to authorize them to take a partial payment, but they as the installers can take one if they so chose. I asked to speak to a [redacted] and she REFUSED saying there were none as it was a saturday. I find this hard to believe. We now are arguing with the installers to do the master bedroom for a partial payment and then reschedule the hallway AGAIN for next saturday 6/**/2015 and pay the rest. Not only are we inconvenienced TODAY 6/*/2015 due to the fact that the entire job is not done and the stress and aggravation of getting this taken care of, we now have to WASTE another SATURDAY where we had plans to wait for them to do the hallway, if not the ENTIRE Master Bedroom and Hallway if they will not take a partial payment. I am not a satisfied customer.Desired Settlement: Billing adjustment and installers to install the rest of the carpet in the hallway on 6/**/2015 as the first customer.
