Thank you for taking the time to reach out to me on this subject matter.  On the said date I was dispatched by choice home waranty to the customers address to diagnosis and troubleshoot his A/C unit and report back to [redacted].  Customer has agreed in contract between him and choice to pay me a...

service call fee of $45 upon arrival before diagnosis begins, but for the record I did finish the diagnosis before even requested for the service fee, which he said did not have exact change but $50, and I said I did not have change either, and he said that's fine.Diagnosis: I found his thermostat hanging off the wall, which I have pictures of. He refused to take me down to the basement where the unit is located, rather he asked a disabled older man tot take me. To my surprise the gas furnace and all the electrical components (control board, blower wheel and motor and he even had a clogged and soaked dirty filter) which I took pictures of, were soaked with water and tripped the main circuit breaker. So I called him to come down, which he never did, so I took the clogged dirty filter which caused air restriction to the A/C unit and caused it to freeze, upstairs and showed to his wife, who then screamed, yelled at him that he was going to kill them with all the dirt coming from the A/C unit. I explained to them that all this is due to the lack of maintenance on the A/C unit, and he needed to shop Vac all the water before the breaker is turn back on.I invited him outside where I filed  my report to [redacted], who advised me that they were going to decline the claim due to lack of periodic maintenance.I asked the customer to call [redacted] where they broke the news to him about the results. He got infuriated and said I must fix the A/C because that's what he called for, and I told him I can't do anything unless [redacted] gives e the authorization. He then demanded the service fee back and I refused, then he said he was going to report my company and [redacted] to the Revdex.com.

I met this customer through [redacted] and installed a heat pump condensing unit for her some where the beginning of spring 2017. In June she contracted me to replace the inside unit too. She went out of town so through her tenant named [redacted] who lives in the house and she has...

testified to the installation through me and the customer prior to installing the new system she had 2 service calls in the summer which I run all for free.In June we did the install. Four months and said unit is not doing anything so I told her it might be a blown fuse, but she has to pay $100 service fee which would cover any minor repair I found, Since I have I run service call for her for free she refused and started raining insults at me and she was going to call her uncle to do it.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Regards,
[redacted]
He is lying, he told me that it was fixed but I needed a new filter....Then after he tried to charge me an extra $20 ,I refused and gave him a $50 and he said he had no change... thinking it was fixed, I said don't worry about it.  He bee lined to the truck and I checked the air, it was not working and I proceeded to tell him, he came back in and then said, let me make a call.I went to the truck, he spoke to someone, and told me to call them, I expressed I wanted my air fixed or my money back and he told me he had another call a block away and would come back. And never gave me a receipt. He lied, I called him and told him about it and he said, you will have to change the whole unit that is only 12 yrs old. I called another AC man the next day and he said dry vac the excess water up and flip the breaker, it will be fine. I did and it is working great. That guy is a liar and a thief and anyone that uses Empire or [redacted] are victims in the making..Any company with any integrity at all, would give the $50 dollars back to protect their name if they actually cared about customers.I spent 40 years in business directly to the customer so I know what I'm talking about.I just hope Revdex.com posts my complaint publicly so others won't be ripped off like I was. The $50 is only principle to me, I hate a lying thief.

Hello,The money was returned recently.I tried to put a new response on the Revdex.com website but couldn't find a way. Thanks,[redacted]
