Review: To Whom It May Concern, My name is [redacted] and I live in New York City, residence [redacted]. My main address is in Massachusetts. I have rented an apartment through Empire Management (alias Riverside Group LLC), and to be quite honest I am thoroughly disappointed with service through this company. I have had numerous issues with my apartment, like mold, and a dysfunctional toilet, and the management team was very negligent with getting this done. The mold was our biggest issue. This mold had been lingering in one of my roommates' bedrooms in the apartment, and it took months for them to have this fixed. Numerous calls to the super were ignored; numerous calls to our manager, [redacted], were ignored;my roommate, [redacted], even showed up in person to the office, and we were ignored. This was complete negligence. Another big issue was simply asking for a lease extension of one month. Just one month. Nothing too complicated. We were denied on the fact that "Its harder to sell this apartment after September," a direct quote from a phone conversation from [redacted] from Empire. We were told that [redacted] is an assistant of [redacted]. I've only spoken to her once. I have also left her a numerous amount of calls and voicemails. All in all, I have been ignored. I am a respectful tenant. I paid my rent early. I never caused trouble. I was ignored.Desired Settlement: I would like my refundable security deposit back, and I want at least another 2 month's rent returned. The mold was in our apartment for over 3 months, and was harmful to my roommate, as she is an [redacted]. It was cleaned, but in the last month that I am living, and I now have to search for another apartment. I am in a horrible situation.

Hello,

They have not contacted me. The only contact I have had is from [redacted] from Empire in an email stating, once again, that they will not be extending my lease.

Per our conversation, I hope they don't contact me until I am safely out of their apartment, because I am afraid of early eviction.
