Review: I am contacting your agency in hopes of help. I have been dealing with a leak/mold in my childs room for 7 years 3 months. On 10-2013 my complex had a new roof put on under the management of Empire property. The ceiling in my childs room soon collapsed due to water build up after the new roof. I had spoken with Condo association members who just passed it on to Empire Management. I have gone to Empire with countless emails, calls, in person, photos and videos of the leak. Since its start shortly after being completed I have been told its residual by Empire Property. My concerns where always told over the years with lack of use of my kids room and it seems that it was always a patch for 6 years. It wasnt until my start at [redacted] in 2012 as part of Installs did I see a different side to roof issues. As a company [redacted] never let someone sit with an issue. It instantly went to Insurance which has never been done for this situation. In July 2013 I finally learned enough form [redacted] that I had a specialist come over and get there opinion after I was asked why it has leaked for 6 years. The specialist did come to my home and wrote a letter to Empire suggesting Mold and delaminating ceiling plywood. Both this letter and pictures where seen as incorrect by the owner of Empire property. After that I seeked help through the tow of Branford and east shore health who BOTH came to the same conclusion as the [redacted] specialist. Since then the town has shown a little complicit with getting the roof repairs done as requested. To date the permits pulled have not been signed off on by the town and its been 4 months. The condo board has been told they can buy a new roof for my unit and in the mean time I have had zero response about catching water in a bucket in my kids room. The debit Empire is putting on [redacted] is not to be completed until the fall. I need some resolution in the interim please.Desired Settlement: Empire should be responsible for the full payment of a fix or new roof. [redacted] has done nothing but put their full belief in Empires claim of experts in repairs for over 25 years. If this was handled correctly from the beginning my neighbor's would not be responsible for 20k after a known 7 year leak. [redacted] should not be responsible for following an unresolved lead. 100% my child's room after 7 years and 3 months needs to stop leaking. Thank You

I just spoke to [redacted] at the Revdex.com about my complaint filed a couple of days ago. The complaint ID is [redacted] and I am looking to drop this matter asap. This matter involving myself [redacted] with a complaint against Empire property has come to agreeable terms today. I appreciate all that Revdex.com does for the State and Consumers. I do not want to proceed with the matter or waste any time of such a great Organization. As [redacted] has told me the other party will still get an email regarding this complaint (do to automated system)but If I ask for it to be with drawn as I am doing today; this matter can be closed?
