Customer is correct. We manufactured and delivered a roof panel that was a few inches too short for his project. To immediately rectify the situation Empire Steel manufactured an upgraded/more expensive eave trim and shipped this replacement to our customer at no charge. The customer then asked us...
to pay for equipment and labor to install the upgraded eave trim. Before we could completely process his claim for reimbursement we received this complaint. The claim would have been and is approved regardless of the complaint. In addition to shipping new material, financial reimbursement for forklift rental ($744)and labor ($400) to install is being sent to the customer on 9/29/17.Empire apologizes for the inconvenience.
