Mr*** never brought his vehicle to our service department and this is the first time we've heard a complaint from him regarding his Nissan After some research, we found that his vehicle is still under warranty and it is currently at another dealership being serviced With that
said, he will not have to pay for the services being performed on the vehicle There's nothing we can do at this time because the vehicle is not at Oak Lawn Toyota Because it is under warranty, the manufacturer will do everything in its power to ensure the car is running at 100% and that the consumer is happy Once the vehicle is out of the other dealership and if there are any other issues, please have Mr*** contact us and we will rectify any unsatisfied issues the consumer has.We are sorry he is unhappy with his purchase, but the vehicle is at another dealership and there is nothing we can do when it is not at Oak Lawn Toyota

On 8/10/*** *** purchased a *** *** and at the time of purchase she also purchased a yror 24,mile powertrain warrantyShe was told at that time that the warranty was with *** and that her coverage is with ***, not us. This transaction was video recorded
and Ms*** was told at different times during the paperwork process that her warranty coverage was with ***. The customer also signed warranty disclaimers and an as/is disclaimer on the face of the purchase order. The customer did indeed stop by the day after with a check engine light on, which was reset at that time. In November when her problems arose, we did indeed recommend her to take it to a Mazda dealer for repair. The Mazda dealer diagnosed the problem, submitted a claim to *** and *** declined the repair because of lack of timely maintenance by the customer. This was presented to *** by the Mazda dealer with no intervention or communication with us. We found out about the problem from the customer and recommended her to bring it to us to see if we could assist in getting *** to provide coverage. At our expense we removed the turbo and the top of the engine for a *** warranty inspector to come and look at the breakdown to determine what coverage Ms*** would have, if any. The inspector determined that the failed part, (a seal in the turbo) was the cause of the turbo failure and other subsequent damages. A powertrain warranty does not provide coverage on seals and gaskets, therefore the claim was denied. We certainly would have hoped that this vehicle would have provided more service than what it did, but months and 6,miles are well beyond any type of good will adjustment that we can provide
