We were very disapoointed to receive the complaint from Mr.G[redacted]. To be clear Mr. G[redacted] has never been a customer of Arizona Bug Busters. Initially we searched the records, and couldn't find a customer named Terry G[redacted] anywhere.  A couple off days later Mr. G[redacted] (Mr. G[redacted]'s tenant)...

called, and asked us about the warranty for Mr. G[redacted].  We realized  that Mr G[redacted] was the landlord of Mr. G[redacted] who before the treatment was asked on multiple occasions to sign our heat treatment contract that protects Arizona Bug Busters from liability for frivolous damage claims with the exception of fire which we accept liiability for fire (only company we know of that allows fire claims). The contract also contains our warranty; so it protects both our company and the customer.  Mr. G[redacted] would not sign the contract because he wanted the ability to come after us for damage.  We accepted the job even without the landlord's consent because we felt bad for Mr. G[redacted], who we felt was being taken advantage of by Mr. G[redacted].  We even charged him about half of what we would normally charge for two, 2 bedroom apartments.  When the warranty issue came up we asked Mr. G[redacted] if he lived in either of the units that were having issues.  He said that he did not live in either of the units.  We explained that warrranties are non-transferable, so that while we couldn't do anything about the warranty because he didn't live there, we would do 2 years worth of Free Pest Control for Mr. G[redacted] free of charge.  We were very appreciative of Mr. G[redacted]"s business, and would do whatever we could to help; him our customer, and we were sorry and felt Mr. G[redacted] had taken advantage of him.   We would have absolutely followed up on our 12 month guarntee with Mr.  G[redacted] if he would have just signed our contract.  He wanted to have his cake and eat it too; meaning he wanted to have the ability to come after us for damage, and also wanted the warranty.  We can't warranty units with new tenants moving in, and out because we don't know if new tenants would bring bed bugs with them from the previous residentce. Mr. G[redacted] is used to being the party with unequal barganing power, and takes advantage of anyone he considers below him.  He said some things; that I won't repeat in this forum, but can get him in all kinds of issues in the real estate business.  Mr. G[redacted] knows what we are talking about; and have 2 witnesses.  Anyway, we  always take care of our customers, and will do anything to ensure they are taken care of.  We just can't accept liability from anyone that isn't our customer.  Mr. G[redacted] needs to understand that he cannot just go around saying anything he wants about a company of which he isn't a customer.  It's called slander, and has negatively affected our business costing us thousands.  Hopefully people will understand that we do everything we can to protect our customers, and can give you names and numbers of multiple customers that we have gone above and beyond the call of any other pest company.  We have many jobs that we loose money on to keep our customers happy.
