My Mom , on her own, signed and paid for cremation services with the Tacoma Wash rep in hoping to make things less difficult for us when she passedThis June she died.The people we dealt with at Neptune without compassion made sure they had all their legalities in lineEven though I provided them with the original signed contract and receipt for payment they found the paperwork not complete enough and delayed setting a cremation date weeks until we satisfied them I was back to work after a month leave caring for MomI decided to have her remains sent to MeThey paid $and had USPS deliver on a day They knew I was not homeI found out only after I got home and checked the tracking # they sent MeNo note was left by USPS and Mom spent the night on the post office floor until the next morning when the clerk had a hard time finding her there for Me to pick upI found a card soliciting My brother to sign up with them when we were finishing up all the paper work They called last week to inform us we had an unpaid balance and I told them they would have to send an itemized bill , which they sent certified mailAll acceptable business practice I suppose but I would rather have dealt with an experienced funeral home who were humane, compassionate, honest and dignified.It will always make me angry, and I know my Mom would be devastated by paying so much and still having us be treated the way we wereI am leaving this review with Revdex.com because I do not trust that Neptune Society cares at all how they made us feel

WE HAD REPRESENTATIVES FROM NEPTUNE HERE THIS WEEK; THEY DID NOT SHOW ANY IDENTIFYING PERSONAL INFO(COMPANY CARDS, BADGE,ETC)THAT WOULD INDICATE THATTHE Y WERE COMPANY EMPLOYEES--IN THIS AGE OF RIPOFFS, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT,ALSO, MANY OF THE COMPLAINTS WERE VERY DISTURBINGIT SOUNDS LIKE THE COMPANY HAS A SERIOUS IMAGE/PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT PROBLEM; ALSO,; BEING THAT IS SO FARREACHING, MAYBE IT NEEDS TO UPDATE ITS BILLING/ FINANCIAL PROCEDURES

My experience with Neptune has been completely professional and positiveIt was easy to set up and give my children the information in case of deathIt seems a lot of the negative complaints stem from survivor's expectations vswhat the deceased purchased; I've made it very clear to my kids that I have purchased the additional transportation expense and that this service is to transport the body and cremate itPeriodHaving been through a very negative and expensive process with my own father, I am very happy to know that my kids will not go through that, and even more importantly, will not have to confer and agree on what's to be done, because I have already decided it

It would appear that the brunt of this customer's complaint regarding his horse barn has to do with the physical construction of his barnIt was made clear to this customer, as with every other customer that purchases the materials for a
project through our company, that we (CHC) are not framers, are not contractors, and do not provide any construction laborThis customer, and again, every other customer that does business of this nature, are referred to framing crews that have worked for other customers in the past and are told what they can expect to pay for the labor portion of their projectThe customer is also free to contract with any other labor crew of their choosingShould the customer choose to go with one of our referrals CHC collects a 5% referral fee, which this customer paidCHC clearly states that CHC isn't liable for labor, again CHC doesn't provide or over see anything labor related, on all quotes and invoices in the same verbiage that discusses the referral feeWith that being said, there isn't anything we at CHC can do to remedy the timeline issues this customer is discussingHowever, we would gladly refund, or rather apply towards this customer's outstanding balance for materials, the 5% referral fee that was paid to CHC as the customer is not satisfied with the referral givenSince the customer originated this complaint CHC has tried to make contact with them multiple timesOnce we make contact with the customer we will apply the 5% referral fee to their outstanding balance and address any additional issues that are within our control

My family and I could not be happier with The Neptune SocietyThey helped us through the hardest time of our lives together so far (losing Mom)They were supportive, caring, communicative and timelyNot much more you can ask for

I was back to work after a month leave caring for Mom. I decided to have her remains sent to Me. They paid $38 and had USPS deliver on a day They knew I was not home. I found out only after I got home and checked the tracking # they sent Me. No note was left by USPS and Mom spent the night on the post office floor until the next morning when the clerk had a hard time finding her there for Me to pick up.
