to back up in his basement Upon inspection I realised that the sewer wasplugged. In order to do a good job cleaning out the line, I declined to perform work froma floordrain and the toilet stack line was not accessible. I located the clean out and it wasrecessed in the floor. I attempted to open but was not able to, no damage was done. Ifigured I could purchase extension in morning, due to the fact of the late hour of the call Icould not pick up tool and return until morning. When Mr. [redacted] was informed Iwould leave and not return until morning he became angry and argumenative. Hecontinued to tell me how to do my job and I disagreed. with him, so at that time I packedup my belongings and left, infonning him to call someone else as I didn't feel we couldwork together. I did not bill Mr. [redacted] because he appeared to be the type of guythat wouldn't pay anyways, and I didn't want to deal with trying to collect, and withreference to his letter my assumption was correct.Tn my opinion a cleanout is the only appropiate way to clean out a basement line, becausethe largest possible cutter can be passed through the line therefore reducing chance offuture backups. Cleaning through a floor drain would would result in partial linecleanout, essentially popping a hole through the blockage and not removing it Justbecause Mr. [redacted] was able to browbeat another service person to clean from aninferior location does not make assessment of the situation incorrect.r am not intending to bilJ Mr. [redacted], but if he continues to slander my name orcompany I will sue him for slander.
