Review: Installed and billed for an oil make-up kit for my [redacted] 20RESL Generator. (May 2012) [redacted] was the service tech who performed the labor.[redacted] recommended that I add this feature. [redacted], the owner, had knowledge of this but deliberately withheld important crucial information.I was told by [redacted] that [redacted] does not manufacture an oil makeup kit for my model generator (June 2013). In addition, the oil dip stick was permanently removed. In order to check the oil, the front panel needs to be removed which is a very cumbersome task. January 24, 2013 [redacted],the owner, performed a routine maintenance 150 hour service. He removed the oil makeup kit, put back the dip stick and told me he needed to take the oil makeup kit back to the repair shop to clean it. JULY 09, 2013 [redacted] received my certified letter with copies of the invoices and work order sheet confirming the work was done and paid for. I also sent a copy of my letter with enclosures to [redacted] who is the distributor that [redacted] uses to buy [redacted] Products. I am requesting a full refund @ $1700. for the installation of the oil makeup kit. I have had no response from EMR POWER SYSTEMS. I can only assume that [redacted] has no intention of refunding my payment. I would avoid any contact with this business at all costs. EMR POWER SYSTEMS knowingly committed fraud and theft. So far the Mid-Atlantic Rep for [redacted] has not reached out to me after being notified of my concerns on July 16, 2013. ???JUlY 24, 2013 In conclusion, I was duped and intentionally lied to.EMR POWER SYSTEMS not only has my full payment of $ 1623.82 but they also are in possession of the oil makeup kit!Desired Settlement: $ 1,623.82 Refund due for Invoice # [redacted] May 07, 2012 Paid by [redacted] Check # [redacted] June 13, 2012.
