This complaint is in regards to a 2014 ODES 4 door UTV that was purchased Feb 2014. Our original complaint was false advertisement. The 2014 model specifications state a 9 gallon fuel capacity, ours is 6. Manufacturer said it was not a warranty item so they would not replace it??? The complaint has since escalated to poor merchandise and no customer service. Again we purchased the ODES 2/2014 and it's been in the shop 7 times. There was a vibration from the beginning & we were told there was nothing wrong. When we had the 100mile oil change & with our insistence the dealer inspected it a little closer and low & behold there was a "broken clutch cam, worn inner primary/worn outer primary & worn v-belt", (dealers words).Subsequently it was repaired & we were satisfied that the vibration was gone. We drove it another 400 miles.6/25/14 sent a certified letter to manufacture with our concerns with no response. 7/2/14 took the ODES for the mandatory UTV tune up with a request to check it out thoroughly because it still did not seem right. Again we were told that everything was fine & the service listed in the service guide had been completed at the cost of $425.00. On 7/15 we went for a ride and 3 1/2 miles into the ride we lost 90% of engine power. We limped back to the towing vehicle. We contacted the dealer & were told they were too busy & did not have capacity to take it that time. Several calls & emails initiated by us & we are still at a stand still. The dealer needs approval from the manufacturer & manufacturer wants us to deal with the dealer. I believe this is all stall tactics to delay action until the warranties have expired. This is the 8th week of delays. One other thing that is puzzling to us is we were told that ODES did not make a white model in 2014 & ours is white and the bank notified us of a discrepancy of the vin number & wanted us to confirm the number because it had been changed. I purchased a brand new scooter from this store on October 29, 2014 for my son. We have had it less than a month and it is having problems that I contacted the store about. The headlight assembly is smoking and burning out when the scooter is operating, and the steering handle bars are loose. I the store and a very snotty, condescending male said that is a defect and to bring it in. I brought the scooter in and a bald male without a name tag informed me that I needed to pay for the $200.00 maintenance BEFORE he would do anything about the scooter issues. This was not mentioned in the sale, on the contract in my possession or in the receipt. I have been sold a defective product and this business is playing a "Bait and Switch" tactic by failing to honor a contract that flat out states I have a 30 day warranty. This warranty for these defects is good until November 29, 2014, yet the company is attempting to hustle me for more money. This complaint is being initiated to serve as legal documentation that I am attempting to have a dangerous issue repaired by the company. In the event my son is injured due to the company's negligence I will seek legal action. If this problem is not immediately rectified is to contact the Nevada Department of Transportation, the Nevada Attorney General's Office and any other government entity that regulates/accepts valid complaints against this business.Product_Or_Service: 2014 [redacted] MopedOrder_Number: Sales Number [redacted]Account_Number: Sales Number [redacted]Desired SettlementSince the company made a legal agreement, they need to honor it and make the necessary repairs, free of charge.
