We have made the necessary repairs to Mr***'s vehicle as agreed

Our customer's privacy and security are our prioritiesMrs*** came in on November 22nd and gave us authorization to pull her creditWe negotiated and worked a deal on a *** *** *** *** *** ***We submitted for approval to Chrysler Capital at 4:54PM and they approved the application at
5:34PM at a buy rate of 18%Mrs*** did not like our Ram because it was WHITE and she was requesting a BLACK exterior RamWe collected Mrs***'s Deposit of $2,and assured her that we would work on getting her Ram in the requested colorThe agreed upon Down Payment was set at $5,which Mrs*** said she did not have yet but would collect by the time we had her Ram inShe mentioned that she had an uncle that worked at *** *** that she could go visit if we were unable to provide the vehicle with the right colorThe following day she went to *** *** (approximately miles away) and worked another deal with themShe did not inform us that she was going to move forward with her purchase at *** *** so we continued the process to acquire the *** *** *** *** *** *** in Black Exterior as she requestedOn the 24th she notified her sales associate Keivi Baker that she was moving forward with *** *** and she wanted her money backShe told him that they did the deal with "less down-payment"The new car Sales Manager, Andrew ***, and Keivi tried to be persuasive to convince her to do business with usThey offered a discounted price, less down payment, and a smaller monthly payment but Mrs *** said she would go with the modelIn an attempt to offer Mrs*** the lowest payments possible Andrew *** pulled the credit again on the 25thHe attempted to receive an exception from the bank to get a rate reduction to generate lower monthly payments so we could possibly convince Mrs*** to move forward with the Ram we purchased for herThe intentions of our Sales Manager was just to earn her businessThere was nothing fraudulent or unethical in the processIn the end we absorbed a transportation fee of $and processing fee of $on bringing the Ram Crew Cab in Black Exterior that she never tookWe refunded 100% of her down payment/deposit and thanked her for the opportunity to earn her business

To Whom It
May Concern,
In response to *** ***’s concern,
Revdex.com case# ***, it is our opinion, that with the services that were
provided and reparations already made, that we have no further obligation to
this customer
On
2/7/this vehicle was brought into our
shop with the concern that the vehicle is not drivable, the engine shakes and
stalls and that the temperature gauge went to hot. At that time the customer was quoted a
$diagnostic charge to inspect the vehicle, to which she agreed. Our technician had then inspected the vehicle
and found that cylinders #and #had no compression, the water pump had
failed and that more time would be needed to remove the cylinder heads to
inspect the engine for the extent of the damage. The customer was then quoted $for the
disassembly of the engine, to which she authorized. Upon disassembly we had found that the valve
seats had come out of the cylinder heads due to the overheat condition, and was
provided a quote on finishing the repairs
On
3/4/our service advisor had spoken with the customer and was told that she
was waiting on her income tax return, but would fix the vehicle.
On 3/28/the customer then arrived at our
dealership unannounced with a tow truck to have the vehicle taken to another
repair facility. The customer then
refused to pay the $bill which she was quoted for the work performed to
that point, and it was negotiated down to $
Due to the unexpected arrival of the customer,
we had quickly gathered the parts that were removed to determine the extent of
the damage and put them in boxes in the back of the vehicle. Unfortunately we had missed some items that
were put in the storage area under the workbench in the service bay the vehicle
was in. After the vehicle had arrived at
the other repair facility, we were contacted and informed that there were items
missing for the engine, the power steering pump was damaged and the driver’s
window switch was missing. We located
the missing engine parts, determined that the power steering pump was likely
damaged in transit due to the fact that we leave it connected to the hoses and
set it aside in the engine compartment during repairs, and could not come up
with a reason that the window switch should be missing. We then obtained a new power steering pump,
gathered the parts that were not sent with the vehicle and sent them to the
other repair facility.
Although we feel we have no responsibility
for the window switch missing, as that was not a part of the vehicle we were
not working on, as a gesture of goodwill we can provide the customer with a
window switch
Sincerely,
Paul G***
Operations Manager

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint I did not give them authorization to run my credit on the 25th of November; I had already purchased another vehicle on the 24th I told Gulfgate several times that I didn't want there business, because they were trying to force me into a vehicle that I did not want I contacted Andrew and Keivi and let them know that I wanted my down payment back I had to come to Gulfgate times before I received my down payment They were trying to stall me out and make me change my mind after I had already purchased another vehicle Which vehicle would you choose a white *** *** *** *** *** or a brilliant black *** *** *** *** *** *** with a complete 5th wheel installation? The vehicle from Gulfgate was under the year model, the wrong color, type, and it was missing the 5th wheel kit My overall finance charges were cheaper-better warranties, better vehicle, cheaper down payment, and most importantly a cheaper monthly car note I do not have any family members that work at *** ***, because if I did I would have gone there first Me having family members working at a dealership does not have anything to do with the way I was treated at Gulfgate Dodge Please no side bars let us address the "real issues" at hand Andrew was so upset that I he and Keivi did not make the sale that he told me that I went to *** *** and asked me about my monthly car noteMy reply was that I received a better deal, and not only did I have to wait on my down payment, I also got my credit ran again after two people from your company was notified on numerous occasions that the deal was off I had to wait over a week before I received my full refundGulf gate Dodge you executed a scam-this dealership has poor work ethics, poor customer service skills, unethical, lacks professionalism, and most importantly you are fraud I am so grateful for technology, because I was able to trace your negligent behaviors I would like for the credit inquiry date 11/25/to be removed from my credit report immediately This is the absolute worst customer service experience that I have encountered! Gulf gate Dodge should own up to your mistake and correct the issue at hand I hope this experience want happen to any other alleged customers at your dealership There are other ways to make an honest sale, this sale tactic should never be practice Andrew did not expect me to notice or find out about this unauthorized credit inquiry Finally, please remove this unauthorized credit inquiry from my credit report from all credit bureaus Thank you in advance for your cooperation;it is greatly appreciated.Regards,Sharonda ***

On Sept30th *** *** and his wife attempted to purchase a vehicle from our businessInternally we pulled his *** and *** *** file in order to attempt to get a loan approved for the purchaseWe found a secured financing thru lender and allowed Mr.*** wife to take the vehicle
home to him to show him the vehicle she had selectedThe next day she brought the vehicle back as they had decided not move forward with purchasing the vehicle at the timeSeveral weeks later, their sales man received contact from Mr*** stating that they were again in the market for a vehicle and wanted to see if they can obtain approval to purchase a completely different vehicle than they had set out to purchase initiallyBy his request, we again attempted at obtaining an approval for the ***'s by resubmitting his loan thru some of the same lenders we initially used the first time and also sending his application to new lenders to obtain approvalBeing that they were on a new unit in a different month, this required the terms to be re negotiated with the lender that originally approved the loan because the new vehicle they were trying to purchase had less incentives available than the one they initially set out to buyNo new inquiries were created by Gulfgate Dodge, only the new lenders that were given opportunity to earn their businessIt is in our customers best interest that we shop their loan thru multiple lending sources to obtain the most competitive terms for themWith regards to the keychain, the initial pending sale from Sept 30th was reported in error as sold to Mr*** and has since been removed internally, nothing more than a common clerical errorThe letters he received are from the banks that looked at his loan and either declined or approved the financing, they are required to by law to send him the notice

To whom it may concern,After reviewing the facts, we contend that we were compliant in both credit bureau request to provide the customer the best service possible. However, to satisfy the customer's complaint, we agree to request the credit bureau remove the second inquiry. We are committed to the highest level of customer service.

totaled  out vehicle and 2. Prove that her open [redacted] was paid current since her credit report was reflecting this account past due. [redacted] and her daughter signed a legal bonding contract the same day and agreed to provide the documents that were requested by the financial institution, we proceeded to send the paperwork to the finance company for funding, as time went by we requested the documents from the customer as had been previously agreed, and because they did not provide them as they had agreed, the contract was then returned from the finance company back to us. We also were having a hard time contacting the customer as they wouldn't return our calls, until finally [redacted] responded and stated that we had called her and left messages to bring the car back to us if she wasn't going to be able to bring the required documentation as well as call the bank for a customer interview. She finally did as we had previously requested and agreed and provided the documentation needed to obtain funding on her loan. We forwarded to the finance company and got the transaction completed on 8/11/2016, then a day later, [redacted]  called the finance company and told them that we had just call trying to get the car back from them, later that day found out that they had purchase another car the day before and apparently the sales person at the other dealership told her to call the bank and tell them this, and also that they would bring the car back to us since they had found another car. The finance company send a request to unwind the deal since this was going to be a first payment default but the writing request wasn't sent to us until 9/2/16, we are in the process of getting the deal unwind by paying off the loan the check should be send to them by 9/16/16 and with this the account will be close and the customer will not have a repossession on her credit.  If you have any questions please contact me at [email protected] [redacted]

Regards,
Stop the lying!! Take care of your responsibility. You all were caught in your quest to charge more money for the work perform. You tried to take advantage of me. I was smart enough to seek further information about the cost. Your sister dealership knew you were trying to rip me off. There was no negotiation ever!!! You can not make a lie the truth. I see you have not address the pictures sent. I have more evidence. You need to consult your legal department. You all are not smart. You can do the right thing voluntarily or involuntarily by a judge. My $500.00 you owe me could me $5,000.00 after a judge sees the evidence and your lies. You all are in a no win situation!! I want my two parts never received and my $500.00 for retaliation and negligence.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  Of course they are not going to admit that the certification was mandatory but me and my wife can attest that they would not allow us to purchase the vehicle at the advertised sale price unless we purchased the "mandatory" certification. At the point, I had two options: (1) walk away and purchase a vehicle somewhere else or (2) agree to purchase the vehicle with a mandatory certification that I didn't want.  Unfortunately, I made a mistake and chose option 2 because it was an impulse decision but it doesn't make it right for them to force these certifications on their customers. They are deceiving the customers to come to their dealership with the internet advertised price only to force them to buy other products that they can profit from. They should have done the right thing that night when I called back and unwinded the deal or remove the certification however they chose not to do either so I will do everything in my power to expose their deceptive business practices. If they don't cancel the certification or unwind the entire deal, I will hire an attorney next.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  The statement "We honor advertised prices" is false, as they will not sell you the car at the advertised price unless you pay the $3K fee for what they call "Certificatuon".  This "Certification fee" is not negotiable, and if you don't pay for it, then you can't buy the car.  If I come in to pay cash, in which case there would be no finance fees, I would not be able to buy the car for the advertised price.

From: Andrew C[redacted] [mailto:[redacted]] Sent: Monday, December 12, 2016 10:00 AM To: drteam <[email protected]> Subject: complaint #[redacted].   I have made several attempts at contacting by phone and had no luck. There is no resolution to this complaint as we acted in good faith on the customers request to obtain a bank approval. Inquiries are a result of car shopping, and all inquiries made were done at their request.    Andrew C[redacted]   General Sales Manager     Gulfgate Dodge Chrysler Jeep cell : [redacted] office : 281-477-6767

To Whom It May Concern, As a gesture of goodwill, we are still willing to replace the missing window switch though the repairs did not involve that part of the vehicle. However, since the cost of the work performed at our facility was negotiated down to what the customer was advised by other repair facilities and that all related parts that were reported as missing or damaged were replaced and sent to the other repair facility in a timely fashion, our position is that we have no further responsibilities to this customer. Paul G[redacted]Operations ManagerGulfgate Dodge
