Review: Camp LabZ operated at Encinitas Country Day School is a bait and switch. They advertise multiple camp offerings for each week of the summer. I signed my child up for LabZ Plus Ocean Odyssey. We were never informed that the camp was being cancelled due to low enrollment. They allowed my husband to drop off my daughter and leave and never notified him that she was being placed in a different camp. They informed me later that Monday that my refund check was being sent. On Friday, they told me it would take weeks to process . I still have not received my refund for the difference. For the following week I had pre-enrolled my daughter in dance camp. On the Friday before the camp was to start and my check had already been cashed they called me in the afternoon to notify me that they were cancelling this camp. No refund received for this cancellation either.

They advertise day care to start at 7:30. AT 7:35 or later on some morning the day care worker is waltzing into the office, signing in, doing her business while we are waiting for her to be ready to receive our child. At the end of the week that amounts to a half hour of child care paid for not received.Desired Settlement: Refund for difference in camp costs for the first week. Refund for a half hour of child care not received. Refund for dance camp that was cancelled. This camp should be shut down for lousy business practices. $125 camp difference, $6.00 for child care differential, $290 for dance camp, $84 for child care prepaid for the week of dance camp.
