DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!! He took my 50% deposit check and 50% on card, over $for complete installWas supposed to do the complete install next day, never showed and stalled me with excuses for days (to run out the day FL cooling off rule) The owner is now in jail again (check pinellas county who's in jail of owners name) I'm praying to get my money back Word to wise, stupid of me, do not ever pay until job is complete

In one word "RUN" As with every other situation you should do your homework firstCheck things out through the Revdex.com and Pinellas County Clerk of Courts, criminal recordsAlso look at the states DPBR websiteAfter viewing those two sites, if you don't run, you're crazy My experience started May 11th 2018, that is when I contacted James Mvia email on his website, the next morning I signed the contract and later that day his employee and employees wife showed up to do the installNo company vehicles showed up to my house, certainly non like are shown on the company websiteJust the installers personal truck There were numerous issues with the air conditioning system it had to be remedied on the following Tuesday After the install was done, the AC system in my attic was resting on my ceiling rafters and it vibrated so loudly we could not sleep in the house When the installer was done installing all the parts together he just filled the system with Freon without doing the proper system flush or required evacuation that is required by industry standardsIt took dats for him to return to solve those issues June 15th I contacted James Monce again to find out when he was going to have the city of St Pete do the inspection Come to find out he never pulled the required building permits to do the installation When he finally pulled the permits, and the inspection was done, it failed He said the city inspectors are incompetent and don't know what's going on Several weeks later his employee finally returned and did the needed repairs to make the system pass Now in the middle of August I am having issues with the system not working correctly and he is nowhere to be found and will not return my text messages or phone calls His website looks really nice talking about running a family business and showing nice company vehicles Non of those vehicles never showed up to my property instead his installer came in a beat up old truck and James drove an old Suzuki carNo company signs or logos to be seen I could go into a great deal more detail about the things I deal with from his employee and James, but I do not see the pointTake the time and look contractors up online, so many of them are unlicensed and uninsured At the time my installation was done, according to the Revdex.com website, he was unlicensedAlso take the time to look at The state board for other license and insurance questions for James Mand other companiesDo your homework first!!!! Encore Air did not pull permits to do the work in my home They did not install the correct equipment and ruined my duct work by squishing it
April they installed air conditioning without pulling a permit and it would not have passed inspectionWe are now having to have all of our duct work repaired due to work they performed and squished the duct work in the process of laying down PVC piping

This business is still taking calls as if they are servicing clients after having license pulled but no return calls from business to any clients
Encore Air has not returned any calls for service as I am trying to get my unit repaired that they installedBeen calling for almost weeks, no return callsBut the answering service that they use is still taking calls from people like me saying that they will call back to schedule the repairOnly after going to the Revdex.com website have I found that the license has been pulled for that business Now I understand better why they are not returning any callsBut the call service does not tell you any of that information, only that they will call to schedule the repair

AC stopped working after years, both indoor and outdoor fans not workingCalled multiple times, as we have a warranty with them, no answers
AC stopped working after years and we have called multiple times to have them come look at the unit, we have a warranty with them, and no one picks up the phone or returns our calls and we can't leave a voicemail because it's fullStarted on 3/6/2017, we had to bring another AC company to look at and diagnose the issue and they say the fans need to be replaced$for the indoor, $for the outdoorWe still have the warranty we agreed upon
They also owe us $150, a maintenance charge that we paid so they would come check the unit twice a year which they never did

I am trying to reach the company for a resolution and have been unable to reach them
I am selling my house and we are unable to find that Encore Air pulled a permitThey also installed a hurricane pad when they installed my unit and the pad is shifting and leaning which can cause damage to my system
