I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. If the refrigerator is completed (not shoddy), working, and back in my home by June 6th, then, yes, the complaint would be resolvedPlease keep in mind that we have told that they would have the fridge completed in a week or two for the last months

Recent experience with this Vendor bordered fraud in my opinion. The customer (a friend) with very limited means and elderly wanted to purchase a relatively low cost refrigerator and could play cash. The Company pressured her into purchasing a high end refrigerator, a dishwasher, property insurance, set up a loan for 3 years at 28 percent interest. Not satisfied with bankrupting the customer they harassed her over payments that were being withdrawn from her bank account. Fortunately the Installers pointed out to the customer that the dishwasher they sold her COULD NOT be used in her house. To remove the dishwasher and the Property Insurance that was not needed from her bill took several visits to the store because the store managers could not take any action, it all had to go to the main office which was closed at least twice according to the customer, once when I was with her. Ultimately I paid off her bill in March. In June they sent her a request to pay an additional about of Interest for the past two months since the account was paid off. These people are completely unreasonable, unorganized and unreliable. The customer's experience with this Company was frightening to her at all levels. If at all possible she should have forced them to take the merchandise back and cancel the contract. Of course that was and is not possible.
As of today 5/19/2014, we have received the refrigerator back from the third custom paint job. They were able to fix the under lying paint and clear coat problems. The refrigerator is being reassembled at this time and should be completed along with the new compressor and coil by the...
first week of June as long as we have no leaks in the coil, evaporator or from the compressor tubing.
