Mr*** scheduled services with our company to have his septic system pumped and cleanedAt that time, he did not notify us to not drive on his driveway*** Septic has been servicing this property since 2010, so Mr*** knew the size and
weight of our septic pumping trucks
After servicing the property, we received a call from Mr*** saying there was an area damaged by the front wheel of our truck that left a divet in his driveway by the garageThe owner of *** Septic, *** ***, went to the property to assess the damage, and noticed many dips, cracks, and divets throughout the 11-year old driveway
We asked Mr*** to provide an estimate for the repair of the divet our truck left in his drivewayThe estimate was for a repair of an area far wider than what our tire left in his drivewayTherefore, we reimbursed Mr*** for the cost of the service we provided for pumping his tanks$295.00, which is half of the amount of what his repair bill will be
In talking to the residents in the neighborhood, they informed us that they didn't buy that lot to build a house on because of the poor soils and clay that were present in that lot, knowing they would not have a sound foundation for a home or driveway, and that the driveway needed a much higher subbase for a paved drivewayThis is the reason the other residents used concrete on their driveways, instead of pavementThey also informed us that Mr*** has had nothing but problems with his home and the lot since building there
*** Septic will not take full responsibility for other service trucks, i.e., UPS, Federal Express, garbage service, and other traffic on the driveway that caused previous damage to the driveway over an year period
When we sent Mr*** the check to reimburse him for half of the repair, we left him a voice mail asking him to please call to discuss it if he had any problems with our decision to pay for only our portion of the roadway that was damagedWe never received a call back, so assumed the situation was resolved

*** service was scheduled for prior to noon on set dateI specifically stayed home to oversee that that were experienced enough to take precautions to prevent further damage that they had caused over the previous serviceTo note I went on record with them previously to state they were causing damage when they pumped septic tanks, but it appears they are very poor at documenting customer complaintsThe statement about "other service trucks" is an attempt to avoid their responsibility as they are the only service that has been on our private driveway!!!!!!
I informed Loir *** I would be home the morning of scheduled pumpingI took the day off from work expecting Ende to notify me when they were at my homeEnde did not inform me when they arrived and were already in driveway beginning pumping when I became awareMy comment, any service that knowingly has significant weight should be smart enough to look at the area they are going to be driving over and notify customer of concerns! Very poor decision on their part to just pull into driveway and begin pumping

I gave Ende option to have someone of their choice repair damage from truck this time via an text messageThey declined and requested I get quotesThe quotes were based on the basic cost to send a crew out to repair single area of the latest damageI have not asked for Ende to repair the previous damage they have causesI can and have been living with that and at this late date was not looking for them to repair past damage
And as for Ende thinking the token return of pumping cost was acceptable, wrong! I texted Lori *** and informed her the check they sent was insufficient to cover cost or repair and only reason I cashed check was to at least have some part of payment at that point for damage they causedI was sure Ende was not above stopping payment of check otherwise
Ende has done nothing to resolve complaint by trying to divert root cause to "global warming"Fact is they do not know how to take proper precautions to ensure they do not cause damageWhen scheduling Ende should have asked questions relative to the surroundings they would encounterThey are "the professionals"?
Check for $was less than half the quoted costs, another piece of misinformation
Tire imprint damage only another piece of misinformationI did see their truck moving from side to side and back and forth contributing to damage beyond what they claim
Compensation for the balance of $for repair will close this issue

This is the first we've ever heard of previous damage to the drivewayIf there was previous damage, Mr*** should have informed us of such and told us not to drive on his driveway to pump his septic tanksWe do not keep records of the condition of residential driveways, as those conditions changeWe only keep records of the last date of service and where the tanks are located
At no time did we ever receive any texts from Mr***We have a land line that does not receive textsWe are willing to turn over all phone records, including cell phone records, to prove this
My prior statement stands as our response as true and accurate
The amount refunded to Mr*** is to cover our portion or the damage done by our tire to his drivewayThe 5'x6' area Mr*** wants repaired is much larger than the area our tire left an imprintYou will see from the photo attached that our tire went straight in and straight outThere was no turning of the wheel
We believe $is fair and reasonable, considering the age and condition of the driveway
As you can see in the attached photo taken by Mr***, the driveway area where our tire fell through is alligatored and has been repaired multiple times
