In April, we used Sweet Dreams Doghouse for a week stay for our two Bernese mountain dogsI picked them up and immediately noticed that one of them wreaked of feces and had tried feces all over her backside, the smell was apparent as soon as she got in the room to pick her upI gave Amy and Glen the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe she rolled in something and moved onAs soon as we came home, both got bathsI found about a inch gash on the puppies headMy other dog had a puncture would through her ear lobeI called Amy to discuss this and she said she knew about the wound on the head but did not know about the ear lobe wound
A short while later that night, the dog who had wreaked of feces presented her severe bowel upset and had intense, watery diarrhea which smelled exactly how her whole backside had smelled when I picked her up that day from the doghouseShe required veterinary treatment and antibiotic therapyHad Glen or Amy payed care to this while she was there, she could have been treated and not have had to suffer with diarrhea for who knows how long
I'm highly disappointed with our experience and will never recommend this place of careIt seems they take on too many dogs to be able to provide appropriate and meaningful attention to the animals
I am know at Sweet Dreams as Jake's Mom Jake was one of thier first customersHe absolutely LOVES going to play with all his friends Now Jake is a Chorky, Yorky and ChihuahuaSometimes the Chihuahua comes out and he can be a rather orneryEspecially at puppies who want to be more than playfulHe his way of telling them to settle down I just love playing with all the dogs who come to Sweet DreamsThey all seem to have the best time thereThank you!! Amy and Glen for providing a safe environment for Jake to play while we travel!
We and our pup, Khy, absolutely love Sweet Dreams!! He attends daycare days a week for the last year and a half, and to this day he still drags me to the front door! Amy is the only one I trust to care of him He always greeted with a happy and loving "Hello,Khy!" We love the cage free boarding, as we don't crate him at homeWe don't know what we would do without Sweet Dreams!! I am always referring new clients out there, telling them they won't regret it! Keep up the great work!!
