Billing and collection or refund exchange. We have been going back and forth for years with emlc about us the people paying for this place of business to close when they would like with no refund to the consumer or 2 or 3 hr delays at the last min and we're expected to pay for a full day weather we received services or not. For instance the closures with covid19 we are still responsible for paying for tuition and no one is there because of PA governor closing all daycare...outside of the covid19 I personally do not know of a place of business that closes due to 2 inches of snow or calls a 3 hrs delay and expects clients still to pay for a full day. I have tried to get some sort of answers from emlc's office and I am just told it's in there policy which is bs. I honestly am looking to shine some light on this and I hope you can help.
Weather me or anyone else in this community that attend emlc has signed the agreement of policies does not make it ok that we pay for voluntary closures in a state affiliated facility. If power is disconnected or water troubles occurred that's a true unforseen closure. For you to close willingly(snow day, or one of the random holidays that we also pay for) as a place of business and expect to still be paid for the day is wrong. Normally the business pays there employees for there determined holidays. Clients don't get charged for the holidays when were not there.....
