Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The concrete work was never changed-I now have the same original design as I outlined with Gary's worker at the beginning of the projectIt was built by a concrete contractor, another $ The rocks were picked up by my neighbors long before the final mess was cleaned upTwo loads of debris were taken away after we talked with Gary and it was a mutual agreement that this job was too complicated for him I finally finished moving the last pile of dirt from the neighbors property last week I have not received a penny of my $18,dollars from this companyThe wood costs around $1000, though it must all be torn down due to non-compliance with city standards The north end of the deck needs to have pipe piles installed so all the supports put in by Endura must be removed I took a loss on the return of the deck surface which was paid for on my credit card I was not here every step of the way, as I was often working 10-hour days I was home during the take down of the original deck After that, I didn't see them but several times, I saw several different workers for short periods of time, often just before they left for the day There was no engineer here, my long time friend is a builder I also had another deck builder come and evaluate and photo the project, another $1000, he said that the whole structure would have to be removed and rebuilt according to city standards At this point, The geotechnical engineers have evaluated and recommended their requirements, We are in the process of designing and getting a city permit for this project I shall have to pursue further action as I do not feel it is appropriate for this company to just walk away from a incomplete project and not reimburse me any of the moneys that I paid, in good faith, expecting a completed project This is a huge loss of money and an awful mess in the back of the house, which has been here all summer The deck contractor who evaluated the project took many photos and wrote a consolation re: the work which has been mailed to Endura quite some time ago Again, there was no response or offer to work out a reimbursement Thank you, [redacted] The agreement presented to me at the beginning of this project is Sincerely, [redacted]

Most of what she has to say is accurate. We were initially asked to simply rebuild a portion of the deck that had collapsed and extend the other end. The entire deck was to be lowered to a height of the owners choice. The owner pick a spot in front of 2 of my other workers and myself and later said...

it was our mistake. The concrete work she wanted done was altered 3 times. The person who was originally supposed to do the work never showed but the owner worked right with them so  I believed they could work out what she wanted. She inspected the work being done daily. In the course of 3 weeks, the concrete work was back at square 1 with piles of dirt and debris. I came to work one day and she introduces an engineer she has known for years. He explains the things he finds wrong. Some of the things he mentioned are outside my expertise. My problem seems to be, she thinks we did all this work for free because it didn't turn out the way she anticipated. Two people got hurt on that job because her negligence. She should have contacted her friend first and I never would have gotten involved. This whole situation could have been avoided. We should be paid for the labor and the materials we paid for. I don't believe that's unfair considering we didn't sue her for trying to kill us. I spent another 2 or 3 days after she stopped work cleaning up the disaster in the front of the house, hauling away loads of rock and dirt. She assumed that this is  free too. Dump fees were over  $500.00 and then there's labor. Gary

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: The concrete work was never changed-I now have the same original design as I outlined with Gary's worker at the beginning of the project. It was built by a concrete contractor, another $7500.  The rocks were picked up by my neighbors long before the final mess was cleaned up. Two loads of debris were taken away after we talked with Gary and it was a mutual agreement that this job was too complicated for him.  I finally finished moving the last pile of dirt from the neighbors property last week.
I have not received a penny of my $18,000 dollars from this company. The wood costs around $1000, though it must all be torn down due to non-compliance with city standards.  The north end of the deck needs to have pipe piles installed so all the supports put in by Endura must be removed.  I took a loss on the return of the deck surface which was paid for on my credit card.
I was not here every step of the way, as I was often working 10-12 hour days.  I was home during the take down of the original deck.  After that, I didn't see them but several times, I saw several different workers for short periods of time, often just before they left for the day.  There was no engineer here, my long time friend is a builder.  I also had another deck builder come and evaluate and photo the project, another $1000,  he said that the whole structure would have to be removed and rebuilt according to city standards.  At this point, The geotechnical engineers have evaluated and recommended their requirements,  We are in the process of designing and getting a city permit for this project.
I shall have to pursue further action as I do not feel it is appropriate for this company to just walk away from a incomplete project and not reimburse me any of the moneys that I paid, in good faith, expecting a completed project.  This is a huge loss of money and an awful mess in the back of the house, which has been here all summer.
The deck contractor who evaluated the project took many photos and wrote a consolation re: the work which has been mailed to Endura quite some time ago.  Again, there was no response or offer to work out a reimbursement.
Thank you,

The agreement presented to me at the beginning of this project is
Sincerely,[redacted]
