We purchased the Platinum Plus plan on A pre-owned Volvo we purchased. We have been experiencing engine trouble losing oil frequently. We brought the car into Volvo for diagnosis. We do have photo proof of the oil and mileage. Volvo contacted Endurance saying a new engine is needed. Endurance is refusing to cover the repair because they claim there is carbon build up due to lack of maintenance. Volvo disagrees and said they have the maintenance records from their end to prove the engine was properly maintained. Endurance is still refusing to cover the claim and we are having to pay over $4,000 for the new engine. We have all maintenance records and yet are being rejected for poor maintenance.
Endurance is simply the selling agent for this contract. The administrator is United Car Care. This means that United Car Care is responsible for the approval or denial of claims, and Endurance plays no role in the administration of claims. I am rejecting this response because: Endurance is simply a front man to hide all the complaints lodged againts UCC. Endurance should be held accountable and their record noted with the Revdex.com otherwise UCC will continue to hide behind Endurance and others will fall prey to their unethical practices. I even filed an arbitration request as instructed on the Endurance website. When I followed up with Endurance they told me that I need to contact UCC and that they're not part of the process. Yet, when I contacted UCC to investigate their findings for rejecting my claim they told me to contact Endurance and take it up with them.
They run the perfect markeing scam. Endurance to this day populates with 5 stars in any search engine but if you Google UCC you will see the complaints. So until Endurance is held accountable then Enduracne will continue to come out looking clean and this unfair marketing practice will continue.
