Rental hot water tank (yrs old) finally gave up - first call to the company in yrs and was told can not come for days! we were not going to be home and pleaded for it to be fixed before that over an hour later was told that can not do it any earlier and will have to settle for that time lineWe decided to purchase our own and now have to return the old water heater - guess what that takes days to do! you have to request, fill out paper work, wait until [redacted] recs the request and then you can deliver the tank to them...we are delivering not them picking it up The customer service team o [redacted] , with the comments : that is the process so who is the customer them or us so I guess we are paying for one more month of rental on a broken down water heater because we do not fit into their process!

[redacted] My tenants were left in the cold and had to find somewhere else to sleep for nights! [redacted] The furnace was inspected times, and each time I was told they "needed to order parts"weekends in a row we had no heat How can you need more parts weeks in a row and why was it not fixed the FIRST TIME?! I now have to reimburse my tenants their rent money for the days they had to move out [redacted] they will not solve your issue regardless of your requests or needs [redacted]

Enercare salesman [redacted] me to sign the rent agreement by the follower manners: a) Enercare salesman told me the machine is ***After installation I found they used [redacted] instead of *** b) Used aggressive method to rush me to sign the contract and don't even allow me read thoroughlyHe even did not explain the contract to meHe asked me signed contract firstThen he said you also need to sign here pointed to the area on lease agreement c) They told me it is easy to cancel the rental agreement via telephone But unfortunately this is not the case when I tried it d) Told I can save lots of money switching to high efficiency equipment which can offset their monthly rental rate, but the fact is that my bill is increased by paying higher monthly payment e) My rental fee, $79.5/per month, based on their buying quotation $5,price, which is very expensive, much higher than marketing price Based on the above, and Ontario Consumer Severs Act I asked Enercare to cancellation my rent agreement within days cooling-off period, but they refused and asked a big amount of money for the cancellation

Rental hot water tank was leakingCalled this company for service, was told the tank was going to be retired next year so would likely be replaceTwo service men showed up at am on WednesdayWhich I had to book the morning off work between am and noonTwo service men showed up, looked at the tank and said it had to be replacedThey then called to get an appointment to have the tank replacedSoonest appt was that afternoon sometime between and pmLost a days pay waitingWhy the first service call didn't have a tank to install is beyond meTwo more guys show up at pm to install a new tankThey left tank was leaking at the solder seam where the pipe meets the tankCalled the company again explained where it was leaking and whyThey can't send anyone out until Friday evening (days later) between and 11pmI refused to lose another days payAnother service guy shows up at 8:pm confirms it's leaking at the solder line but doesn't carry solder so can't fix itHe then calls for another appointmentNext available is Saturday morning between 8am and noonI was told it was the first and ONLY appt of the dayI have to leave at 10am, was reassured they would be there first thingNo show by 9:45am so I call again to say I have to leave they promised first appt of the day and no has shown upNext available appt is the following Tuesday (another unpaid time of work to sit and wait for service) I declined that appointment, was told next available wasn't until the following SaturdayUnacceptable! Why they can't send out team with a replacement tank, when they know exactly the model, the age of the model and the fact it was due to be retired is beyond meWasted my time and lost wagesA waste of wages to send out men to confirm that the old due to retire tank is leaking but don't send new tank to be replaced, then send another men with a tank who can't install it properly and it leaks all over my utility room, then send another guy days later who can't fix it because he doesn't have the toolsWhat kind of an operation is this? After filing a complaint they are able to get another appointment for Monday between 8am and We'll see if they show up and correct the problemThis has been a huge waste of my time, service people over the course of days have arrived to fix/replace a hot water tank which continues to leak! At this point ***, I'll go with another company!

Rental Hot water tank was leaking so we called to get it replaced We called Monday night and were told no one could come until Wednesday morning Technician came and basically just verified it needed to be replaced - he didn't actually do installations Next available appt was the NEXT morning so from Monday evening to Thursday morning without hot water Two guys come the next day and tell us our venting duct work is out dated and not up to current codes ( our house is years old) PLUS they red tag our furnace We need a different kind of hot water tank which they don't have so they will be back the next afternoon No hot water for days plus a new furnace Getting estimates from other companies for the furnace because I am tired of dealing with this company
