I am extremely disappointed with how Energy Control systems installed and handled my issues with a air handler installation. The issue that I had is that the air handler was installed during the summer. The first time I turn the heat on for the winter all it blows is cold air. When calling to determine if it was due to the new air handler I was greeted with it will be a 69$ diagnostic test. To me, it would make sense they would double check to make sure everything was installed correctly. if not, this would be the perfect gateway to new work and new income if there was any other issue. They could have even included the 69$ as part of the fix and I stated I would be ok with that. The father of the father son combo actually suggested for me to call my home warranty to get another company to come look at it since they no longer work with old republic home warranty. Surprised not standing behind your work! Now for the installation, the metal rivets used have since popped out and the tape they used the cover/mask them was not nearly strong enough. This means the intakes into the air handler are pulling away and there are gaps making it no longer tightly fitted. Also the return water pvc pipe was installed so that it is near impossible to change air filter. If I had the ability to post a picture, I would do it very quickly. None of these items do you ever think to check when having your air handler replaced and only learn at a later time (no heat, rivets popping out, replacing air filter).

We have used Energy Control for 15+ years, home and rentals. Ray is the kind of guy you want to hire, there when you need him and truly honest. Highly, highly recommend him.

Energy Control Systems was recommended to me by a coworker. I had ECS replace my 20+ year old heatpump and air handler in 2012. The level of customer service from ECS is beyond outstanding, the owner of the company sold me the system, installed it and services it, I don't think you can get any better than that. We recently had a problem with the unit (a little over 1 year old) and [redacted] really went to bat for us with the manufacturer to fix the problem, on a Saturday no less.

I do not give recommendations lightly, but I felt that I had to share the experiences I had with [redacted] and ECS. I think that a true measure of a company's customer service comes when there is a problem and how they respond to that problem and I could not have asked for more.
