We made 5 to 6 trips back to this customer's house and made every attempt to please her. When you are filling walls it has to be done by drilling from the inside, through the siding on outside and leave plugs or remove siding and drill under...

it as not to leave plugs showing. This customer did not want the drilling from the inside or any plugs from the outside, so our only option left is to pull up a couple rows of siding and drill underneath to fill the wall cavity. This is the most time consuming of the three options.
This customer went through the Ameren Furnace/air sealing Program. So not only does the customer get a furnace at a fraction of the normal cost but also has to have the insulation part done. Ameren covers a big part of this and the customer pays the remaining. The customers part can be on a bill financing but they have to qualify and be up to date on their Ameren Bill for last previous year. She did not end up qualifying on her end and as a result has not paid the furnace people or our company.
We had a siding guy look at this, who said the siding was fine. We had a painter look at who said the whole house has peeling paint. Our guys went back in early Dec. after matching the paint and touched up the strips where we pulled the siding to drill the holes. When you pull old shake type siding with old paint, you will still see where the siding was removed. All the old paint in the cracks is disturbed and so we did
paint those areas.
As far as leaving a mess, our guys do not intentionally leave messes. As with any construction, there can be dust left. We make every effort to leave our work areas clean..
