Hello Mrs [redacted] I am very sorry to hear about your experience Admittedly, we are somewhat baffled as to what happened in your situation because the market transaction process that is administered by ERCOT would generally not allow this event to occur unless [redacted] had submitted a disconnection order In the process that we administer, we do not talk to your existing or previous provider The process on the order that was made for you was for a switch that was was selected for the 28th of July.I can assure you that we did not contact your previous provider regarding your service, and the new order from [redacted] will not result in your previous provider dropping your service.If you did not contact [redacted] regarding stopping your service, or if you did not receive a previous disconnection notice from [redacted] it appears that they may have a provision of service violation of the PUCT rules We would be happy to file a complaint with the PUCT on your behalf of you wish.All of that being said, it does not change the fact that you had to deal with the inconvenience of being without power for the day (especially in degree weather) We would very much like for you to be happy, and to that end we have refunded the payment that we received from you It is our sincere belief that based upon the State administered process the order we placed for you could not have resulted in your outage, but we would like to make sure that [redacted] does not engage in this type of behavior with other customers Please let us know if you would be willing to allow us to file a complaint with the PUCT on your behalf regarding the interruption of your serviceThank you very much,Jesson [redacted] CEO
