In response to Energy One's response: When I met with Alex on 7/20/15 we did not discuss several water systems, I started the conversation with "I don't want to 'wrangle' with those 40 lb bags of salt any more." I had been researching water systems and found I had some other options.  He was talking about this "whole house system that had no filters to change, lifetime warranty, could get drinking water out of any faucet in the house, and cost $2900.  I thought this would be great, thinking this system didn't require bags of salt. Was I stupid for thinking he was on the same page as I when I started the conversation out with "I don't want to 'wrangle' those 40 lb bags of salt?" I did tell him I had a friend that had a [redacted] system that required changing the filter once a year and I was going out to her house to check it out.  He said whatever system I decided on, they probably had it. After about a week or so, if even that long, I called Alex and told him I wanted to go with the "whole house system." We made an appointment for 8/5 to have it installed.  Some days after that call and before the installation, I left a message on Alex's voice mail asking for a ballpark estimate on the extra plumbing needed, I never got one. So on 8/5, they installed it.  When they were finished, the two installers, Brian and I didn't get the other guy's name, was educating me on the system.  I asked them "What's this tank for?" They said that's where the salt goes in.  I said I didn't want a salt system and they said you can't have soft water without salt, or in this case, potassium salt. I should have had them take it right back out, that's not what I wanted.  Alex never got back to me with an estimate or told me the installers would need to give the estimate. Plus Brian presented me with a bill for $3872 and some change, $900 more than I expected to pay. I expected to pay about $300, even $500, but not $900! Quite a difference.   That was on a Wednesday. The following Sunday, I went to do laundry and had a garage floor covered with water. They didn't get the hose shoved in far enough. I called Alex on that day, 8/9 to have someone come out to see what needed to be done, Brian came out 8/12 and fixed the problem. On 8/24 I got a text from Alex stating that Brian forgot to collect another $108, I still have the texts.  I said for what! I was at work and said I would call him back that evening. That evening I got Alex's voice mail, left a message. Didn't hear anything, left another message Tues night and stated that I was working Wed but leaving town Thurs and wouldn't be back till after Labor Day weekend. Heard nothing until 9/2 or 4 when Alex left me a message and said he had been out of town.  He never said anything about it being such a "difficult job" until the job was done. The last time I talked with Alex was on 8/9 regarding the water spewing all over the garage floor, I never called him "happy with the system." Alex said he never told me to pay $108, but he sent the text, which I still have. The complaint was submitted after the $108, I've had no competitor here, and the plumber wasn't at the house until 9/16 to check out the water heater. I have never had to complain to the Revdex.com before. However, I will never do business with anyone without a written bid or estimate.  If I was supposed to negotiate with the installers, Alex never told me.  Like I said before, I didn't want a salt system and said so from the start, I knew there would be more than $2900 for some extra plumbing, but I sure didn't expect $900 to $1000! Now, I'm going to have to hire someone every year to check out the insulation on the roof, make any repairs if pipes on the roof break, paint the pipes. And when I did mention the HOA to Alex he said "Why wouldn't it be OK? Look at all the cables and solar panels, TV dishes on the roofs." I figured he knew what he was talking about because after all, as he has said, they have been in business for over 36 years! I just sorry I ever did business with this company and I think I'm going to be in for a very costly and time consuming maintenance of this product.  If he would have paid attention to my not wanting a salt system, they probably could have fixed me up with one of their systems that would have met my needs and the needs of my house.

Mr [redacted] is not an Energy One customer, and claims to represent a Property Management company. He scheduled a service call on a Water Softener. We offered to be there the same day, and he said nobody would be at the house. There was never a discussion of any "initial assessment" and...

at no time was Mr [redacted] misled about ANY charges, whatsoever.Although the Property Management company is not our customer, we: 1)Arrived on time, meeting the schedule requirements of the resident2)Mr [redacted] was not present, nor was the property owner available.3)We tested and checked the system. There were a number of repair issues. The Property Management company declined any repairs, even though the service call charges would apply to ANY repairs or replacement.4)The Property Management company claimed that he was told there was no charge. We record ALL calls and This is 100% NOT TRUE.As a property manager who schedules service as part of his professional responsibilities, it is implausible to think that Mr [redacted] would ever assume that a service call from any licensed company would be free. Nobody works for free.

To AZ Revdex.comRe:  case [redacted] We returned last week from an overseas trip and discovered that a complaint had been filed by...

a customer regarding an amount of $108 which the customer claimed was due to the difficulty of her installation.I immediately called [redacted] and left her a message explaining that we would waive any such charge. She has not responded.Furthermore, I called the Revdex.com and spoke with a  Resolution consultant about the claim, and explained that we were waiving any $108 charge, and that I had already phoned [redacted] and left her a message that there are no additional charges.I have been unable to respond by email, as [redacted] just returned from [redacted], and I was unable to get into the computer program on her computer!(Prior to departing for [redacted] had asked the Revdex.com for a copy to be mailed to our Company. However, we never received it). When I met with [redacted] we discussed several types of systems.  We never finalized anything, as she was shopping around.  She said she was going to discuss installation options with her HOA, and was meeting with some other water treatment companies. We never discussed the costs for the installation, and I left the next day for Sweden, where J[redacted] had the honor of Judging their Arabian Nationals.Sometime during our trip, [redacted] phoned to order the 6 stage system, which uses potassium.  She never asked about the installation cost, as that would be between [redacted] and the installers, and would depend on how the piping had to be run.At a later date, [redacted] called and seemed very happy with the system. During our conversation, [redacted] pointed out that her notes showed that, at our meeting, I had quoted her $2995 for the system, and not the $2895. that she had paid! In fact, she was never sent a bill for $108.00 from our Company! The installation was very difficult. However, the cost was negotiated between [redacted] and the installers at the job.We never told her to pay $108 more for the installation! The customer has never contacted us to complain about anything, but the fact is that we received a "complaint" after a plumber and competitor was at her house. If [redacted] had ever contacted us about this, there would never have been an issue or a complaint. We work valiantly to provide good and honest service, and have for over 36 years! We have informed the customer that there is no $108 charge. We do not feel that there is any basis for a complaint, and ask that this matter be purged from our clean track record.Sincerely,Alexander C[redacted]sPresident
