Review: The last (2) month I got billed from [redacted] for a EnergyPlus service charge that I do not have an existing account with EnergyPlus.

Last bill from [redacted] electric charge is $67.15 then I got a charged of $242.52 for New EnergyPlus supply charges. I do not have an account with EnergyPlus. Have no ideal why there charging me the $242.52 for this month.Desired Settlement: I need this EnergyPlus service charge to STOP or else I'm filing a lawsuit.

Review: When I signed up for the Energy Plus program I was told it would save me money on my electric bill from [redacted]. Since signing up it has kept increasing month by month. What should be costing me $150 at the most per month (900sqft apt-1person) is now costing over $300 a month, last month was $395! When I contacted [redacted] they explained that Energy Plus was charging over .20 per kw hour where [redacted] was a little over .08per kw hour! The company seems to pull customers in with a "save money" pretense and they are charging more and more per month!

To me it seems like another big company raking their customer over the coals to make a huge profit. I am barely making ends meet every month and after checking with friends and co-workers whose huge houses aren't costing 1/2 what I am being charged I am furious.

When I contacted the company I was basically told " well supply and demand decides prices". I would literally have to run my heat at 100 degrees everyday all day, run my dishwasher, washing machine and dryer w/ every electrical device I own to cost what they are charging me.

I figure they have overcharged me upward of $1200 since I signed up. Now I have a shutoff notice from [redacted] because of this. I work hard for my money and conserve my electricity everyday, yet I am paying more. I am a single woman over 55 and now can't afford to pay my bills. Please help and get this company to cease and desist with robbing people.Desired Settlement: I think they need to make right what they have done and stop doing it to others. But I want my money back. What they have done is wrong on every level. It's NOT good business.
