very competative price and exelent work. found one very minor problem with a sceen tow weeks after work was complete. Called Joe and the problem was fixed before an hour had past. Never had such good service in 35 years of home ownership.

Energy Saver of America non speaking English workers broke a window glass as well as gouging and leaving tar smear marks on 2 side of my garage. The workers that performed the job did not speak English and there was not a supervisor on sight during the job. While doing the job, the pieces of shingles and nails were all over the place. Plastic bags and other debris were blowing down the street of my neighborhood. The workers went into my garage and took out a rake to use and broke it and threw it off to the side of the house. At one point, a glass window paine was broken and part of it was still dangling in the frame while the other piece laid atop of a bush.At the end of the day as they were packing up to leave I realized that they had not done the garage roof which was part of the contract. When they began leaving without finishing the garage roof, I called [redacted], owner and told him. He showed up after 5 pm and told them they had to finish the job. The workers informed him that they did not have enough product to complete the job. [redacted] went to the local Home Depot and purchased products needed to finish the job. While the workers were on the garage roof, it was about to rain. The workers were yelling and screaming in Spanish using foul language about him and having to do the job. [redacted] told them if they did not finsih the job they would not get a ride back to Springfield. It began to rain heavily and the workers finally finished. [redacted] told me that his supervisor would take the piece of glass and have it measured and replaced. The worker who was the only one who spoke English took the piece of glass with him and said it would be replaced shortly. The next day I went out to review the job. I noticed that the sides of the garage were gouged and had many streaks of tar or something else all over them. As I walked around the property there were nails and pieces of shingles all over the lawn, in the bushes and even pieces left on parts of the roof. I emailed [redacted] who said he was sorry and offered to send a check for $250.00 to clean the siding without even coming out to see the damage. A few days later while I was working, [redacted] stopped by to pick up his lawn sign. My partner, [redacted] was home for lunch when [redacted] showed up. According to [redacted], [redacted] acknowleged that his crew did damage the sides of the garage. It was reiaterated to him that they were upset because they were not aware that they had to do the garage roof and wanted to go home. [redacted] told my partner that they would replace the siding and that the broken piece of glass was being replaced and would be there soon. We did not feel that we should have to find and hire someone else to come and repair the siding damage as well as replace the broken glass. In addition to all of this, I completed at least 3 applications for [redacted] Credit. The day the job was complete, after he assured me that the glass would be replaced, he asked me to sign a form to submit to [redacted] credit. After I signed it, he had to go out and talk to one of his workers. He got in his car and started to drive away. I asked him for a copy of what I signed. He yelled out the window that he would mail it to me and drove off. I did not receive a copy of it for over 2 weeks. He did send a $250.00 check for cleaning the siding. I have not cashed the check as I am unsure if the siding can be cleaned at all. The glass still hass not been replaced. While it may not be part of your investigation, I am also concerned whether the workers were legal immigrants, and or were being exploited and paid at lower waages, or even under the table.I would never recommend this company to anyone. As I told [redacted], if cleaning the siding was all that was needed to be done, he should have hired someone else to come up and clean it and send someone else to repair the broken glass. I also told him that at this point it is a matter of principle. I would like to file a claim against his insurance carrier but that information is not being provided to us at this point. I will also follow up with the dept of labor and the division of professional licensure.Desired SettlementProvide the name of the insurance carrier and contact information so we can file a claim for the cleaning of the siding, or replacement of it as well as the broken glass. At this point, I would prefer that he or other workers, whether legal or illegal not perform any further work or repairs on my home and have another company we choose fix the problemsBusiness Response In answer to [redacted] complaint as always there are two sides to every story..Mr. [redacted] is correct on my workers not doing the garage and yes they where short 2 pieces of drip edge all of $15 of material, to complete the work. Approx. 7 years ago ESA Repaired the gutters on my house , and was supposed to repair Damaged Sofit -to be replaced is the wording on the Estimate . While a very professional job was done on the gutters , the sofit was never repaired -over the course of 3 years I called and talked to the owner of Energy Savers [redacted] , explained what had taken place and that the sofit had never been replaced . He would tell me that someone would be by and no one ever showed up to fix it , over the course of three years this went on , finally I ( being the type of guy who accepts things for what they are gave up ) since then we have had squirrels each and every fall Invade the attic which is not a healthy situation . I'm 55 now and do not want to accept this any longer . After all these years of squirrels being in the attic my family is concerned about Health issues , and my wife was Hospitalized and diagnosed with COPD -SHE IS GREATLY CONCERNED . I hope there is something you folks can do to help , PLEASE -THANK YOU.Desired SettlementI would like for them to come and close up the sofit as very soon the cool weather will be here and the squirrels will be back , and at bthis time probably a professional service to clean the attic from what the squirrels have done over this time period . That's all I'm looking for we have done business with them in the past inside repairs , roof job etc. and I am very surprised that they never made good by their error . I called my Insurance company and they suggested to try you -Please Help MeBusiness Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXContact Email: [redacted]@energysavers1.comDear Mr. [redacted],Thank you for bring this to our attention.. All phone calls to my office directly come into my cell phone when out of the office.. To date all we have received is this complaint from the Revdex.com and not a phone call to repair again your soffit. Energy Savers prides itself on customer service and at no time do I or my company disregard the concerns of our future and past customer. This complaint will be taken care of TODAY.. and I ask that in the future please contact me directly. I have indeed made calls to the contractor for a few years ( as stated in the origional complaint ) -but going back and forth would be futile , and would not be productive in the least . Like I said in the intiail complaint my wife and I had many entertaining conversations prior to other jobs that [redacted]'s company has done for us as he spent numerous hours planning some of these projects with us , he is a great guy . To finish this process and In my mind make the issue complete I would like for a proffessional cleaner to go in the attic and clean any damage / possibly dead animals that could be up in the attic and then I will consider this complaint a done deal . I appreciate the help on this matter and like I said with my wife;s Health Issues just the satisfaction of knowing there is nothing dead above the ceiling will be comforting to her . Thank You allFinal Business Response Please call or office for a time so that we may check your attic for animals... Thank you [redacted]
