Review: Energy Pros chose to move forward with installing my solar system before obtaining the permit. I was led to believe that this was standard procedure and that the permit was a matter of a few days completion. After faithfully completing payment for the system, I was told that the permit would take a couple months and that after that PG&E would have to approve it before it is functional.I expressed that, had I known that we would be delayed three months before the full use of our system, I would not have paid the final payment. I was told by [redacted] that he would have the CFO contact me regarding a reimbursement. That was several weeks ago and I have made a reminder call but heard from no one. My calls have gone unreturned.

I am asking for the communication I was promised regarding the step by step progress on getting the permit and a return of the final payment of $6,212,80 until the system is functional.

Business' Initial Response
I have spoken with Mrs. [redacted] and she told me that she was going to withdraw the complaint. She didn't understand that her system is fully completed and operational and we are just waiting for final sign off from the utility company and the state agency that oversees permits on manufactured properties. It has been this way since before her complaint.
Consumer's Final Response
I was unable to find the website listed on your letter so I am writing to you regarding my case against Energy Saving Pros Construction.
I spoke with the owner of the company last week and he agreed to send me a check for $700 while we await the completion of the system, at which time, I will owe him that $700 back.
I have read the report on 7/2 by this person. He is reporting that our system is fully functional which is inaccurate. Until PG&E puts on our new meter, we are receiving only a fraction of the benefit of our system which we will receive after the meter is installed. This is part of the installation process as is laid out in the contract. Both the permit and the PG&E work are a part of the original contract.
I have reported to the Contractor's License Board that we received this partial temporary compensation. I wanted to update you on the progress.
