Energy Savings quoted the TWO complete Trane heating/ cooling systems for my home at a total price significantly less than ONE system quoted by the competition. This was a huge cost savings and the install and quality are perfect; very pleased.

On June 9th of this year the swamp cooler on our rental unit went out of service. Because both of the occupants were diabetics, it was very important to get it fixed as soon as possible. I immediately went to [redacted] and purchased a new cooler, which I delivered to the job site, and they in turn recommended Energy Savings Heating & Cooling to do the installation. I agreed to meet their representative at the job site, and was told that because it was an emergency there would be an additional charge, and I said OK. At that time I was quoted a price of $1472.12. After the shell shock, I asked what the normal charges were and was told "I'm not sure, but I think its around $800.00.

After several attempts to get some sort of reduction in the cost of the installation, I have been told that is their normal fee, and they refuse to reduce their OUTRAGEOUS CHARGES!! All said and done, they charged me $588.84 per hour. THEREFORE FOLKS WHATEVER YOU DO, SHOP ELSEWHERE

Company was quick to respond. Service technician was pleasant and seemed knowledgable. Unfortunaly, company marked up price of part needed.... way over 100%. My suggestion, once diagnosed and determined what is needed, and cost provided for part, and if it is overpriced, call another company. I can understand 50% markup, maybe even 75% to factor in labor, but not over 100%.
