I was really disappointed with a recent service call I had from Energy Services. First let me say, the tech and service manager were polite and respectful, however the office manager wasn't reasonable and was borderline-rude. The service that was supposed to be done, was a warranty repair to a whole house humidifier. I was told that my unit had a 10 year warranty. For that reason, I had them come out to make the repair. Before doing any work, I was told that charge would be $400+ because my unit was not under warranty. The only reason I had the company out was to perform the warranty repair...what changed? After some lengthy discussion with the office, it was determined that "I was mistaken...no one ever told you this was under warranty". This is interesting because I never assumed I had a current warranty, but was told by their office that I was under warranty (to my surprise). When speaking with the office manager, I was asked to write the service tech a check for $99 for the service call. My contention was that their wouldn't have been a service call if I wasn't led to believe I had a warranty; I would have scheduled a new install (and I would have shopped the price before having them out). The office manager stopped short of accusing me of lying, but it was clear that she didn't believe me and she was not at all gracious about the situation. It was clear to me at that point, that what Energy Services wanted was my money without concern for my problem. In other words, I feel like the company cares more for themselves than serving their customer. And that's why I'm moving on...

This company installed my air conditioner last year in August. The thing is already shot after running less than 4 months. They do not even have the part in inventory so they have to order a replacement in order for it to work again. Poor workmanship or shotty parts I'm not sure which but I'm the one who suffers. This company doesn't even act like they care.

Energy Services installed my AC last year. After about 4 months I ran into a problem with it in which the AC Coil burnt out. I was stuck with absolutely no AC and after all my basic troubleshooting I finally gave in and called in the experts since it was still all under warranty. The response time was less than 24 hours and they ran through all their checks and they were very thorough before even diagnosing a problem. Finally they uncovered the issue and originally said they'd need to order the part so it would be a few days. That sucks because the weekend was gonna be a warm humid one. However, when they realized they had the part in stock they were very quick to get it in. In fact, they worked with me that night and were able to get the AC unit up and running that evening which still has me grateful. Energy Services is receptive to your issues should you have any and will here your frustration because they understand how a lack of AC can feel.
