Enforcement Tow Reviews (60)

Maybe TELLING THE TRUTH would help? You parked IN A FIRE LANE. You were towed BY SECURITY! Bottom line.... PARK in designated stalls and don't get towed! And if SECURITY is threatening to tow you, DON'T COMPLAIN TO US!

You failed to explain where the tow occurred. You caught the driver off the property, therefore you paid an offsite release, which you got a deal on, as it should have been $350. Once the driver is off the property, the tow is complete. You also claim to be victim of what exactly? The tow rate are...

posted CLEARLY in the office for EVERYBODY to see. We do not give out information over the phone. You were rude, and were told that. You got offended because you could not get the answer YOU wanted. You were parked ILLEGALLY and were subsequently towed for this violation. The drive showed you the pictures and you opted to pay then, and were given a receipt for the payment you tendered. On this receipt it clearly states WHY and WHO authorized this tow. Without additional information, like TOW TAG #, location the vehicle was towed from, I cannot give you any additional information!

The video of this interaction was reviewed and at NO TIME did the MALE ask for the vehicle to be dropped or released. In fact, the male stated he was getting a TATTOO, and asked where the vehicle was being towed to. He was handed a business card and left. Next time TRY TELLING THE TRUTH!

First off, if you are going to complain, get the dates and days correct. You picked up your truck Monday, at the same price, as if you picked it up Saturday. You parked in a FIRE lane and were towed for this reason. You caught the driver OFF SITE on a public roadway. Tow completed... I listened to...

the call when you were told it would be the same price Monday, yet $50 more Sunday! Bottom line, don't park in a Fire Lane and don't get towed. We are open M-F 8am - 5pm. CLOSED WEEKENDS...

So you ILLEGALLY parked your vehicle BLOCKING THE LANE OF TRAVEL, and ASSUMED the occupants in the DIESEL TOW TRUCK heard you yelling at them while they were DRIVING AWAY FROM YOU. And because of this you want a refund? Uhh NOPE!!!You also claim they are breaking many laws? NAME ONE OF THEM...You...

stopped them OFF THE PROPERTY and are mad they gave you a business card? Why?You were able to retrieve the vehicle AFTER HOURS and are mad? Why?BOTTOM line is YOU parked ILLEGALLY and got caught. Tell the truth! Next time DON'T PARK IN THE ROAD.

I am rejecting this response because: you make absolutely no [redacted] sense you proving that they were still incurring fees since last year wow in your yard. Conflicting with what is in the recording  obviously you have no [redacted] clue what you're lying about, so maybe take the pipe out your mouth or the straw out your nose and [redacted] do do your job ethically and you wouldn't sound like a [redacted] it every time you respond.

Review: I went to a friends house is too get a number of a frend of ours. I had to use the bathroom and I had kids in the car waiting on me they turn off the car and came into use the bathroom while we're z someone sent my car was on the tile as I came outside to show them in my car would not start someone else came outside and punch them in case he had to call the police when he called the police the police to not take me to job they told me that my car was being seized I asked him what did that mean they said that it meant that the bank took my car and that I would have to take it out with the bank the bank called me and was trying to make arrangements for me to pay for my car and I had to ask tell them why should I pay for my car when they impounded it repost it they said that they didn't do that the people when I called them on Monday at 9:30 the lady told me that they impounded my car and it's going to cost me $800 to get my car out of the impound because they had to call the police and then I was being charged for the policeman called outDesired Settlement: Not saying that they cannot charge me for the car being impounded, I'm saying why am I being charged for the police coming out and I had nothing to do with that incident and I'm basic being double charged because altogether its $800 to get my car out, $400 for the initial towing and the other $400 was for the police.

Response:

Try telling the truth. Try acting like a human and not an animal. Your racist rants are all recorded. You parked in the middle of the road for over 30min. You got towed and tried to drive off the tow truck. Too bad your battery was dead. Cops called because of YOU, not your friend who assaulted the driver and then ran away like a little scared child! Your actions contributed to the total price charged! Next time, act like a normal human being and maybe this won't happen. Quit lying and quit calling everybody racists, maybe you should look in the mirror!

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I am not taking responsibility for my car getting towed I was not parked in the middle of the street I was parked behind the tenants I was visiting, I had only went in to use the restroom & get a number, my daughter's were in the car the whole time waiting for a jump, just as they went inside to use the restroom that's when my car had all of a sudden was being towed, when I had realized me and my daughter's had got in the car to show the man my car would not start, as he was accusing me of getting to drive a way, how was I to drive away when my bumper was already attached to the tow truck and the tenants car I was visiting was parked in front of me, around the same time a random man had came and slapped the tow man, at that point they decided to call the police. I accept the responsibility of my car being towed, I'm just not accepting the extra $400 and disrespect for the police being called. I had called that Sunday to see how I can go about getting my car out & I had been connected to a dispatcher whom told me I was a liar & he wasn't even trying to work with me, he told me everything I was saying was a lie, I stayed humble just until the end of the phone call when I had realized the conversation was getting no where. I am not Racist, Dont pull the race card on me I am acquainted with many races, my family is very interracial but I still say you people (two people) are Caucasians who think they are superior. When I had called again on Monday morning they had told me I had to pay $800 from Friday to Monday due to the 2hr wait for the police. I sincerely have No control over the situation of why the police were being called and don't understand why so much of a charge. I would like to take this to courts, I feel these actions are absord and unfair.

Business

Response:

The vehicle was towed for ILLEGAL PARKING. The charges are hourly, and the total bill was for the hours it took to complete the tow. The hours were a direct result of the actions of the driver of the said vehicle. Her actions caused the extended time, hence the amount that was owed. The bill continued to increase daily, as a result, the bank repossessed the vehicle and secured their collateral.

Review: On Friday March, 5, 2016 at 21:50 my truck ([redacted] f-150) got towed from an apartment complex. I asked the two men towing my truck what the drop fee was since they were still on the premises, they told me they couldn’t do a drop fee and I would have to pick up my truck at the impound lot. The man who towed the truck had told me that the price would stay the same for the first 24 hours (so 200.00) and after that, it would be 50.00 per day. The next day (Saturday March, 6, 2016) I got a call from Enforcement Tow, and the lady that I talked to had told me that I had the option of picking up the truck that day and they would charge me 350.00 or wait until the next day (Sunday) and they would charge me 300.00. My wife and I decided to pick it up on Sunday to save us 50.00 but when we got to the lot, the man who attended my wife and I told us we still had to pay the 350.00. We had mentioned to him about how the other guy didn’t let me pay a drop fee and he said that they should have dropped off the truck for the drop fee, and he also mentioned that this is not the first time this has happened. I asked him if he could talk to his boss to see what could be done to give us a refund so we only had to pay a drop fee of 100.00 and when we could expect a call back but he never gave us an answer. He simply said he would talk to his boss. March 14, 2016 at 3:22 pm March 8, 2016 at 3:45 pm March 7, 2016 at 2:32 pm March 6, 2016 at 1:05 pm were the times that I called back to speak to the boss since I never received a call from the owner or manager. Every time I call and I ask to speak to the manager/boss the response is always the same. “The boss isn’t here right now I am the only one at the yard at the moment” when I ask when he will return the response is always the same and he says “I don’t know when he’s coming back he might be here tomorrow but I am not sure.”Desired Settlement: I would like for them to give me a refund because I wouldn't have had to pay 350.00 if they had allowed me to give the drop fee of 100.00. They also had poor customer service, and very misleading. I would also like them to pay for the time that I missed from work to pick up my truck(5 hours).

Review: I am filing this complaint on enforcement tow because my vehicle was towed wrongfully and I was charged way too much my vehicle was towed Saturday morning at 3 in the morning on 4-12-14 they was closed over the weekend I had spoke to a representative on 4-12-14 at 5:53am it was told that would be 450 bucks and a car to charge me for storage on the day they would allow me to pick it up and on Monday morning when I went to pick up my car the customer service representative told me 650 bucks and the driver has a recording of the whole incident on 4-12-14 on camera in recording saying that it wasn't right to towedDesired Settlement: I would like a full refund for that towed 650dollers

Business

Response:

This tow was authorized by management because the evicted tenant was parking in another tenants assigned stall. They then stopped the driver from leaving and had the Sheriff's department dispatched. The fee's were for the time the driver was on the call. The tow was legal and within the law. The office is opened Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm, closed weekends. They were told this and left over 150 messages Saturday. His actions were the cause oc the tow and the fee's. His fee's were the same Monday, as they would have been Saturday. His complaint is unfounded.

Review: I am a disabled vet and my car was illegally towed on 9/22 by a private towing co. From the hadicap stall. I was the victim of the infamous predatory towing scam. The drivers demanded $100 on site, I refused. I was in the store less than 5 mins and when I returned they had my car booted and hitched. This is illeal according to Bill AB 2210. When I called and spoke to [redacted] he td me thay he was charging me the max $200 for towing because I argued with his driver. He refused to dislose the location of my vehicle unless I pay $450.This info is not on the business card so I am being charged for mileage that is untrue. I have pics, called [redacted], and the store employees are witness to this illegal activity. I did observe them next to my vehicle but was not worried as my disabled placard was in the window. This is private party towing company with many identical complaints. Thwy are scamming innocent people. This has caused me issues with getting to work on time. I had to walk 1/2 mile home at 2100.Desired Settlement: I just want my car back. I do not wish to pay $450 for being a victim. If I pay, which will be on 9/25/15 I want a full refund.

+1

I have been a customer of this company and they were professional and courteous. Obviously I was not happy my vehicle was towed, but they are doing a job they were hired to do. No complaints from me. And I verified they are licensed and insured. I do not know why there is a "RED FLAG" for this business.

Review: I had my car towed from my private parking apartment from a towing company.Desired Settlement: I will come and pick up my car for no fee,it was towed illegally.

Response:

This person parked in another persons assigned parking stall. That person had her towed and she refused to pay for it when she showed up. She left the car for over a week and now wants to complain. This tow has nothing to do with the property or us. She parked in the wrong stall. Deal with it! Complain to somebody else about something else.

Review: On the evening of Saturday 8-15-15 between the hours of 8:15pm-8:46pm my vehicle was towed from a private property apartment complex after only being parked for 10-15min. I was able to catch up with the tow truck driver who had taken my vehicle to a Plaza located approximately 0.2 miles from the location of tow. Enforcement tow's operator stated he had not finished his hook up job to my vehicle. Enforcement tow's operator accused me of being double parked in which I requested proof and he allowed to take a picture of his phone. I was made to pay $200 for the release of my vehicle and given a recipe with very little information and the fee I was made to pay. Tow operator also stated that he uses his own discretion to tow vehicles at the apartment complex that Enforcement tow is contracted with. The tow operator could not confirm nor produce a written document stating who requested the towing of my vehicle. The next few business days I attempted to resolve the issue in a civil manor and request any written documentation of authorization to who at the apartment complex requested the towing of my vehicle and also requested a chart of towing fees be made available to myself from the owner/manager of Enforcement tow .The owner/manager made it very clear to me that he would not give me any documentation that I requested and told me to take him to court. I also contacted the apartments and was told clearly that no one including management, security nor an employee made any such request for the tow of my vehicle and therefore did not have any documentation of the matter. My concern is that my consumer rights have been violated and are a firm believer that many others have been a victim to Enforcement tows actions or lack of following California Vehicle codes nor have followed policies and or good practices. In no way shape or form was my vehicle double parked to be taken in such a manner. My vehicle was wrongfully towed and am requesting a full refund.Desired Settlement: A full refund. The right to information and to follow policies and good practices.

Initial Business Response

This foul mouthed female lied and continued to lie during the process. Management authorized the tow of an illegally parked vehicle with NO parking permit and parked in another tenants stall. She did NOT get towed, instead opted to call the police and then pay a drop fee and removed the vehicle from the property! And she continues to LIE in this complaint. Her stall is NOT where it was being towed from.

Final Consumer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

Like I said before my care was in the shop 2 hours prior to this incident and I was unable to get my sticker until the following morning. I was in the stall of the same person who was parked in mine I provided proff and have pictures to prove that he has Been parking in my stall that car should have been towed a long time ago. The tow truck driver was rude and disrespectful using bad language and I have witnesses of that as well as 2 letters from the neighbors that were outside. And I called to get a hold of the owner regarding this matter and the same man was rude and saying there is nobody above him and the owner will never be there and hung up in my face.

Final Business Response

Typical lies... Try telling the truth. She did NOT talk to the same person. Lets have names if she did! I listened to the call into the shop and SHE was the rude one. I instruct all my employees to hang up on rude ignorant people, just like her. Her complaint is with the appartments, NOT the tow company. If her complaint is rudeness, then look in the mirror. Even the cops were fed up with her. She should have been towed and charged the full amount, instead of being given a break and dropped! As far as the car in her stall, WHY DIDN'T SHE HAVE IT TOWED? Stall she was parked in was NOT the person who was in hers. LIES LIES and more LIES. Her car was NOT towed, as she keeps claiming. And this was 8:00 at night on a Sunday. No body shop is open Sunday! Go lie to somebody who cares and will listen. Whats next? She going ro claim racism?

Review: My car was towed because they stated I was in a red zone but was parked in a driveway in front of a garage. After an hour of trying to reach the tow company as per security guard I was told I could pick it up for $400. They had the car for an hour. After picking the car up I drove my friends back home and the tow driver was back in the secured complex talking with the guard I'd talked to earlier. This is legalized scamming as far as I'm concerned. I feel the charge was was absorbance and request a reasonable amount. $200 would have been a lot. I think they should be investigated as I'm sure there are many people getting towed at the hands of fraudulent business practice.Desired Settlement: $200 refund would be nice.

Business

Response:

Do you go to [redacted] and complain about price and try to offer less? Our rates are set by the local laws enforcement agency. They have been inspected and authorized. You parked in front of a RED NO PARKING FIRE LANE marking and are complaining? If you took the time to see where you are parking this wouldn't have happened. Take responsibility for your actions. You parked in a marked fire lane and got towed. You picked up your car after hours and paid the extra fee. If this was such. A big deal, you could have waited till the office opened at 8am... Call around and ask ALL of the tow companies what their CHP rates are. $210hr and $65 per day storage. We are less then that...

Review: I spoke with a worker at the inforcement tow about my car being towed an which I was schedule a appointment after hours at 10am to get my vehicle I showed up an no one was there an no one answered the phone I have never been treated so disrespectful I just started my new job when your a running a company you follow the rules of your company he set a appointment for me to receive my car then didn't show an didn't answer the phone when I finally got to speak to someone 2days later I have more charges I'm rights as a citizen of [redacted] have been thrown away theirs laws an this company is braking them for there own financial gain someone needs to take this company an have a hard look at what their doin to this communities you tell some to follow these steps an rules to turn around an change them as they please an say you have too pay is not fair...an there shouldn't be a company that allowed to do so...Desired Settlement: Their should be a sanction or some type of penalties set for this company an future tow companies that the other parties have a right to retrieve there car at anytime....this is someones life work families that has been changed I should have the right 24hours a day to pay for my vehicle their making citizens pay for days that they could have retrieve their vehicles for there own financial profit

Business

Response:

Try telling the truth. You did not have an appointment. You were told to call back after 10am. You left a message and your call was returned when the message was retrieved. You setup a time and your vehicle was returned to you after you paid the fees. The office is CLOSED over the weekend. We have to be open Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. We are not open on the weekends, yet when available, we release cars. Don't park illegally and you won't have this problem. You are lucky you got your car, as most companies don't do weekend releases...

Review: Enforcement tow took my vehicle without my apartment complex consent my vehicle has over there thousand dollars into it and I have updated receipts I'm disabled an I was not able to get to my doctor appointment because my vehicle was gone now that I have it back enforcement tow dismantled my car and put me in a deep depression please help meDesired Settlement: I feel they should give me full compensation for my car

This woman is a racist liar. She lied to management and when in court lied to me. I agreed to return her pile of junk abandoned non registered car, to make this go away. Welfare people have nothing but time on their hands to make other people's lives harder. We were hired by the OWNER of the apartment complex to remove abandoned vehicles. Her vehicle was on a flat tire, covered in dust, died battery and full of junk. She lied at court, produced a fake letter and acted like a child. Then refused to come to the shop with her ID and REGISTRATION, so the tow company could release her car and return it. She filed another court action, lied some more, and then finally came into the office with her ID... Her vehicle was returned, she was notified, and she still went to court, LIED TO THE JUDGE, committed perjury and obtained a default judgement. She didn't win the case, she lied. She then called and threatened me over the phone after her car was tagged for abandoned again. The same car, expired reg, and now up on a jack and block, has been that way since it was returned to the property. I have the call recorded where she admits to committing perjury and threatening me. She cussed me out for 5 minutes, then had other people call me about the car. This woman has mental issues, cannot tell the truth, and continues to harass me about doing my job. I am not refunding her money. I am actually filing a court action in Superior Court against her. The company attorney is now dealing with this problem.

Review: on Febuary 20th I can from Merced to Sacramento for the weekend to celebrate my birthday with my Family we went to dinner returning between 10-11 pm to the [redacted] the next morning went to my car it was missing about 9am I go to the office they know nothing but they gave me the number to the tow co. and the security co. when I called the tow co is closed and then I call the security they don't know any thing ,they said they work for the apartments I replied if you are security you should know if a car was tow he told me to call [redacted] ,I said I need to know if my car was tow so if it wasn't I can report it stolen, then he said yes it was towed, the he says "at least you know were your car is" so then I call the toe yard back and left several messages as the recording instructed but they never call me back ,so I go back to the office I dont know why my car was towed and why no one is calling me so I can get it back, the leasing agent ask me did the check me in at the gate I said no Security just nodded for me to come in so then she call the tow co and they told her that they toe two trail blazer last night and they tow me because it was double parked, I explained that I was not double parked and I don't know your rules here because I am a visitor.as the day when on I made several more call to the tow co the would not return my call so I back to the office and the leasing agent called ,she spoke to [redacted] she told him that I had made several calls but no one was calling me back he said he would be at the tow yard in 45 min, and he would call me.He never did I called to the apartments at about 5pm and told the leasing agent that the tow co never contact me she replied "he never called you back " I said no she said I will call him back. I did not here back from any one the next day was Sunday I left a few message I still got no response. On Monday I called and explained that I had been calling all weekend he if there no one available they don't call back,I was charged $350Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded because this was not about violation this was about greed ,I looked at the picture thy took when the towed my car and I was park on the line but it was late when we came back from eating dinner I was tired because I had work half the day pick up my children drove from Merced and delivered a basket,My car was towed at 2:20 am it is unfair that your out looking for something like this, I had had everything in my car for our picnic ,meat food favors gift basket,I am a victim.

Business

Response:

Learn how to park and don't get towed. Office is closed Saturday and Sunday, so what's the problem? She was clearly double parked, not on the line. Her call was returned, ANSWER YOUR PHONE!!! She didn't answer so she didn't get a release time! Office is closed, so when a driver is available, she would get a call back and a time to meet. The law states M-F 8am to 5pm. Those are the hours we are open. Weekends when available, and the fee is the same Monday, so it's not a "GREED THING" as she states... Next time READ THE SIGNS! It clearly states the tenant is supposed to advise guests of the rules. I guess common sense was out of the question, as far as parking in between the white lines...

Review: On 2-27/2016 I was woke up by a neighbor at 6 am stating my car was being towed. The driver for the tow company stated my management company called them, they did not. My car was parked in the grass in front of my apt on private property. They forced me to pay $150.00 do drop my car. I had permission by our on site manager to park there. In a 20 day period Enforcement tow has towed 13 vehicles for a variety of trumped up reasons, many have been towed for parking in a fire lane that is not marked with paint or signs. No one is calling according to management and we feel as if they are targeting and "ambulance chasing" to make extra money. The driver and the owner, Ben have repeatedly lied to all involved. This is a poverty level apartment complex. My management company is hompointe mngmnt in sacramento Ca..Desired Settlement: Would like a refund and note the practice this company is performing is a violation.

Response:

First off, quit doing drugs, [redacted] This t[redacted] who has a mouth a mother would cringe to listen too, clearly cannot comprehend the LAW, nor common sense. Has had no clue what or why we do our job there. We are hired, and the manager is FULLY BEHIND what we do. Per CA Fire code, any lane of travel is a fire lane, and does not require markings. You cannot park and block a driveway, or you get towed.I watched the video of the attempted tow, where this toothless drunk, tried to fight the tow driver. He also confronted another driver on a different date and cussed him out. When confronted, [redacted] like a coward. All bark, NO bite. He threatened law suits etc... Bring it on! PRIVATE PROPERTY is just that, and we have full control of it! Park on the grass, which is against Sacramento county code, and you risk getting towed. Park in between the white lines, where you're supposed to park!!!

Review: On Friday evening on January 16th my car was towed from our apartment complex. Yes I did forget to put up the handicap plac. So I was able to contact Enforcement Tow that evening after call 911. And I spoke to the man that answered the phone No. 916 341 0111 which was given to me and he said yes he had my car and that I could call that same number on Saturday morning to get my car. I tried all morning to reach someone to get my car leaving messages on the voice mail. So I contacted my daughter to help me by taking me to Enforcement Tow after getting their information on line. We went there and the place was closed down and vacant. After calling the number on a leasing sign on the front of the building we were able to get a different number from them. We went back home and finally got an answer at that number and were able to get the address and go to that location and wait for someone to come and I got my car. Later when my receipt came to my email from them I left my feedback on their little sad face about how hard it was. And they responded by calling me ignorant and that I should not be getting my car impounded and that Im lucky I got my car back on the weekend. And then I realized it was the long holiday weekend and that they were trying to keep my car all weekend. Not nice at all. His comments were uncalled for and now I know its time to look for residency else where.Desired Settlement: They should always give all numbers in cases like that and their new location since their website is not updated to prevent people from driving all over the place. And why does the tow receipt say it was an hour and a half tow when they are only 25 minutes away. Am I being over charged? Do they owe me money back?

Business

Response:

First off, the car was towed and stored for not displaying your handicapped plaque. You left a vmail, did you actually listen to the message? Leave ONE message and when a driver is available, your call will be returned. Second off, we DO not deal with anybody else other than the registered owner. Third, you assumed the address is where your car was at. We never told you were to go. Your assumptions have nothing to do with us. Your assumptions caused you to drive where you did. You have the correct number. Why would you call somebody who has nothing to do with the tow company and then take what they say as being correct? Your actions landed you where it did. Your NEG post and then calling the responder an A-hole was very professional and called for? Learn to be responsible and maybe this wouldn't happen. Now you question the time? Start times and end times are clearly posted on your receipt. And Holliday weekend or not, makes no difference in releasing your car. Picking it up the following business day would have been the same price! So what's your complaint now? Be a responsible adult and take responsibility for your actions and this won't happen. Filing bogus complaints won't help your situation either.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:First and foremost I never used the word [redacted]. And I still believe that it should not take all day to get a response. And I still feel that they should give out their new location and the phone number that they responded to and not the one that was given. And they sound very very unprofessional by their responses. And I have no need to respond any further God is my lawyer.
