There has been multiple attempts to his office over the last year.A woman took a message in June 2015No response has ever been received from [redacted] EngelMy next step is to go to the State Bar if a refund is not received by Dec 1, 2015.I have multiple emails, phone records, statement from the court that he was not presentand that he took our money and failed to provide a serviceThis is a common issue with [redacted] Engel and his license is about to be revoked.The state bar is calling me weekly to proceed with my complaint.I would prefer to settle outside, but if [redacted] Engel continues to fail to respondwe will be left with no choice, but to pursuit actions through the California State Barand push to have his license permanently revoked

Dear [redacted] *** First it should be said the complaint is totally untimely some seven years after the fact and is barred by every statute of limitations that could applyHowever out of courtesy here is a responseThe case is seven years old so what brought this matter to light now? The answer is that the [redacted] have hired a lawyer who is a former disgruntled employee of my firm (I took his place)He has retaliated in the past by various slanders to this office, by phone and internet postingsThe P [redacted] 's are being used by himHe filed a chapter case for them just two weeks ago (and suddenly now a complaint!)The P [redacted] 's were well served seven years agoTheir case was filed as they admit and the first meeting of the creditors was attended toThey could not make the plan payments so the case was dismissed as they were told it would be The filing though did give them temporary protection and extra time top perhaps resolve their financial issuesUnfortunately that was to no availAny second meeting by the trustee would have dropped from calendar due to their case being dismissed beforehand, and would be moot The P [redacted] 's NEVER called my office again, or returned calls and this is the first I have heard of any refund request (we gave them a big chance to solve their problems but they could not) to say they attempted contact several times would be a lie as is saying families are complaining about the same problemWhere are these families? Their case was filed as they admit and the first meeting of the creditors was attended to. They could not make the plan payments so the case was dismissed as they were told it would be.
