Review: I bought a high value estate and closed escrow in March. The sellers agent was [redacted] with Engel & Volkers. The home had significant remodel work done, some with and the majority without permits. There was partial disclosure of the non permitted work. As a result, we requested supporting documents (contracts, proposals, scope of work, invoices, warranties, parts/equipment lists, payments made, etc) for all of the work done. We were given a list of names and phone numbers of companies and individuals who had performed work. We immediately notified in writing [redacted] we wanted the documents and not a list of phone numbers. [redacted] responded via email that the documents would be provided at closing. Since closing [redacted] and after months of following up with Curt and chasing him down he now says there are no documents and they do not exist.Desired Settlement: I want the documents that Curt and the Sellers promised that were used to induce me to buy the home.

The buyer Destry Setser purchased our listing at 1**3 Country Ranch, in the city of [redacted] state of California, zip [redacted]61. He purchased the property well aware of the non-permitted buildings on the subject property. He was given $26,000 for the cost to cure the permits and he was agreeable to that dollar amount at the time of sale. He signed a disclosure to the fact.

The consumer also was given all the receipts and names of the contractors from the seller and the consumer was not happy with the receipts and names, he wanted more that the seller did not have. We have all the emails and text messages from Mr Setser that would show this. If you would like to speak with me, please call me at any time.

They have provided no material receipts or invoices at closing as agreed to in writing during escrow. They actually now say there are no receipts or documentation or payment records for seemingly hundreds of thousands of dollars or work. They were deceptive, dishonest and induced me to close the transaction by their actions.
