It has been a custom in the industry if we replace case work without changing the foot print we would not get a permit. As of the first of year changes have been made. As the inspector said our changes are miner. The customer has paid me more than a $1000. He has paid The $1000 deposit, deposit on case work, change order for additional tile work, new base board he requested. Yes he he had indicated the stain color he wanted from the begging.  I brought a sample of his door with a stain that he could OK months ago he rejected it. He said he want the door manufacture to supply the stain. I informed him they supply the doors and the cabinet shop Finnish them. Decor told us the door he was asking about was a picture of a door supplied to one of their customers and that customer stained it. Decor did not have that stain. (i will be happy to supply the communication back and forth with Decor) My customer has all the copies. After more than 10 samples trying to find something my customer would agree with. He agreed to a stain. I bought 3 gallons and mixed to prepare a sample. He rejected the sample. Go back to supplier I was told you can have a change from quarts to gallons. So I bought quarts. He rejected. He then ask for me to match the original door I had shown him months ago. I tried over weekend to match it unable to I went to stain supplier to match. He recommended to put color in the varnish witch he did. I showed the sample to customer. Customer asked for a larger sample. I made larger sample he rejected. I went back to original mix he rejected. He asked me to go to [redacted] I did. They at that location could not make it. He recommended to add a little white 10 to 15%. I followed his recommendation. My sample was pink to much white. I backed down to 5% and I'm close enough to show him. You have to understand each of these tests are at least 2 days. These require a sealing layer, 2 coats of color, two top coats, with drying time. This job is very old. I like my customer would like to get this done. I hope he likes my latest sample. Grout last nothing to do with lining up tile if tile is not flat it will not line up to next.  Tell us why here...

I am rejecting this response because: Star remodeling in first week of October and has not accomplished his job up to this 2/23/17. No kitchen, no cabinets, no counter, small plastic sink for washing dishes, no dish washer. Their was hot wire line in the middle of the floor, and we were not aware of it. Till [redacted]i went to city of roseville. They send a building inspector and demand [redacted] to first get a permit. Since he never apply for it prior to the remodling. Inspector told [redacted] to go back to the house and check all the electrical wiring. [redacted] mentioned to [redacted] that the wire on the floor was hot wire "note" (since he has start been hot wire) to the date that inspector came 1/30/17. The hot wire apprently is connected to the outlit behind the store. In his reply to the statement to Revdex.com has mentioned that his waiting for conformation for the stained. "note" (He already knew the color before he started the kitchen remodling). After several weeks of not been able to come up with the right stain [redacted]i gave him a option of it he can come up with closer to stain. I believe the reason that he is not able to get a correct stain cuz he is not experienced on mixing the stain. Fianlly he [redacted] came with a stain sample we agreed on a sample 2/3/17 that is been signed by [redacted]i and [redacted]. I have asked him several times please call and let us know what the plan is. I have called him to find out what he is going to do. There is times that he doesn't call or show up. "note other than stain their is more things that he needs to work even "when" he comes for few min and leave. Some of the titles are very high and according to home depot that the titles were purchased they used a wrong grout. "note" he has mentioned in Revdex.com report that he has only got $1000 which is not true and we have checks to prove it.--
